Exceedingly. You know how it is, you spend the best part of £10k on a watch and it does kind of blinker you to the limitations of the thing ;)

I too have reviewed... Suspect it won't get published:
"Although this is the base model with standard "Indiglo" and only 100m Water Resistance it is an absolute steal at under ten grand. Hard to believe I paid more than twice that for the T5J993 only a year ago."

I'm thinking that there must be some algorithm he's using that automatically bumps up the price of an item the closer it gets to selling out. An algorithm written by an incompetent 8 year old.

I've seen some prices like that before... I bet it's some kind of screw-up with Amazon website... Being the nice guy that I am, I emailed the first seller telling him to check if the price is right. Let's see what happens...

    Re: Bargain of the year??

Seller just answered my email... it is a problem with the website. It seems Amazon marketplace keeps randomly changing the prices after he posts them.

Well, there's my good deed of the year, I can now rest until 2011

Well I must say that at first I was a little put off by the price tag, but I though about it for a while and decided to go for it. And boy, what a good decision. This is the very best watch available in the entire world!! It makes a cool beepy sound when you set it right, it tells the time by showing you numbers, so you don't have to work out where the big hand and the little hand are, it is made of real plastic and even comes with its own battery included. Honestly, it craps all over the Patek Calatrava I had to sell to help save up for the purchase. I was a bit worried that it wouldn't look as good with a suit as the Patek, but my mate Dave reckons that it looks even better. He is such a legend, he even bought the Calatrava from me at £2k and now he has to put up with the stupid hand business! He says he is really jealous of my Timex, especially when I make it beep in front of him. I love this watch even more than I loved Susan, before she had to go to the airport with all of her things. Susan, if you are reading this can u text me to say when you are coming back please? I miss you and I think the dog might have died because he hasn't moved for 3 months and smells funny. You left your ring behind too.

    Re: Bargain of the year??

So... Who's gonna 'fess up to being Mr B..R
The mans a comic genius.. :D

This review is from: Mens Timex Watch T49615 (Apparel)
Well, I have lived with my £9000 Timex digital watch for a few weeks and I still love it more than my remaining kidney but I felt I needed a bit more versatility in my collection. Something to impress women with. Something to make men envious. Something with a big hand and a little hand to make me look clever and an orange dial/rubbber strap combo, because that is appropriate in basically every situation a gentleman might find himself in.

I thought my search would never end, until last week when I found this HOLY GRAIL Timex T49615 on Amazon. Since Susan left I have made quite a bit of money from donating sperm and I also got £1000 from my best mate Dave for my uncle's rubbish 1973 milsub, which was a bargain considering it had never been polished and still had the tatty old hands and bezel that it came with when he was in the army. Dave is so good to me, he even tried his best to find out why Susan left - I saw a text on his phone to Susan's mobile number saying that he was going to "pump her so hard" - for information I guess??? Anyway Dave reckons that this Timex is like the milsub, but 100 times better, and I agree!!! He is so gutted!!!

Anyway, back to the watch!! I love the sporty looking "E" with an arrow going through it which is randomly parked at the top of the dial. It's a piece of design genius. E. For Excellent. The orange colour of the dial is just right, nice and bland just how I like it. It reminds me of my worm medicine. The big and little hands glow in the dark! But luckily only for about an hour (great design feature - I think Timex wanted to make sure that people aren't disturbed by it when they are trying to sleep.) There is a number on the right side of the dial which changes every day. I haven't worked out what this is yet, but it's pretty cool anyway. And there are TWO turny bits on the outside of the watch - one on the right like normal and another one on the left. It has filled up with water a couple of times when I was swimming and the turny bits are great for letting it all out again afterwards! Brilliant and simple design. The ticky hand doesn't go round any more but Dave says he knows someone who can make it do that for £1500. If you are wondering whether to buy this, then don't wonder any more - JUST DO IT!!
