Hi from Doncaster.......
After recently purchasing two Seiko Divers (a black monster and a yellow face frankenmonster) I am now officially hooked on watches. Any advice concerning seiko divers would be much appreciated
Thanks

Hi Ryan,
Welcome to the forum. My advice concerning Seiko divers would be to buy lots of them :D. They are great watches and good value for money and it keeps on getting better once you get into their vintage stuff.

Thanks a lot gents, many questions to follow!

Welcome to the forum, from an relative newcomer and fellow Seiko diver addict.
My advice: F5 Sales Corner very often as they don't hang around long! :D
Shame........ never mind :D we will not hold that against you.Originally Posted by Ryan1984

hi ryan welcome to the madness :D next step would be a seiko sumo, then tuna then mm300
I love the mm300, definitely at the top of my wish list :D

Welcome. Nothing wrong with Seikos. Lots of knowledge of them on this forum.
Cheers,
Bruce
Welcome, Ryan - vintage 6309 diver is the way you want go next. Get one that's been serviced by someone who knows Seikos, it should run like a bull for years. Then go after a Tuna, a Sumo, a Samurai, a MarineMaster 300, an Arnie, a Sawtooth, an Ashtray, a 6105, a 62MAS, etc, etc, etc. There is no end if you don't want it to end.
Hi Ryan ... I've only just joined myself but welcome anyway. You have kicked me off here as I have been trawling the airwaves for a Seiko to go kiteboarding with. So now I must ask Jeff what is that lovely black strap on his 6309 .. it looks perfect.Originally Posted by TakesALickin

Prepare to spend lots and lots and lots of money here !!!
I love that 6309, does anyone know how much they tend to sell for off the top of their heads?
Welcome from another relative newcomer, my first purchase here was a modded SKX007 which is my most-worn watch. Bought on advice from a long-standing TZ member who owns watches from the most expensive brands and who also has nothing but praise for the Seiko marque
