    Basic Mobile Phone Recommendations

I'm trying to find a mobile phone that fits the following basic criteria that's cheap and available as phone only/PAYG.

    - Compatible with O2 and/or Vodaphone
    - Fairly robust - some people work for a living and need phones that bounce a little
    - Big enough keys for man-sized fingers
    - Bluetooth

We need to buy a few at once. Can anyone help with any suggestions as to what/where? Is it a case of having to go to stores or can these be bought online?

Everything I've seen is far too flash, flimsy, full of gadgets or plain expensive.

Perhaps I've just been looking in the wrong place

Sorry to be such a Luddite

The Samsung B2100 I use seems to meet your criteria. I use it on Vodaphone PAYG.

    Best wishes,

Sonim make tool phones. I think the JCB phone is a rebranded Sonim.

I have no experience of them, I should add.

I do the same with watches, if it survives the night, it stays...

If you can find one, the Nokia 6300 is bomb proof and very simple. I've had one for the best part of three years and it is simply superb.
