Previously Unseen Form of WABI on These Pages?

Take one LV, (brothers) and wear it while welding at work...

Normally WABI involves losing metal, but this LV has gained some...

    Moron...

There is being anal about your watches and scratches (which I am not) and then there is being a numpty. As in if you are ripping a bulit in wardrobe out, you wear a Gshock not a nice watch. Clearly for me welding comes into the Ghock catagory

Brilliant. The ultimate solution to "the beater" - wear someone else's watch whilst welding. Love it :D

Now I'm going to pop round to see my brother tomorrow before I do the gardening - see if he has something I can use

Must be a lot of money to be had in welding if you can wear a Rolex on the job - career change coming up!!

Just to clarify, it was him wearing it while welding not me :D

On a serious note, bexley would get that off? It may start to corrode?

He did mention dremel and I said you might want to hold off, I can see how that will pan out...

Just a bit more, just a bit...

    FCK too much

My cousin has a Seiko 007 that has taken a real pasting over the years, his has a large weld mark on it and a large mark in the case where something shorted through it. :)

One of Jocke's, from this forum. I've had a look, but can't find it on his site. IIRC, he did a photo essay on a DateJust that he's used whilst welding... very very splattered!!

    Effortless.
