2. Good for kids (4 & 6)
3. Beaches
4. Plenty to do & see
5. Good (local) food
DONT WANTS -
1. Too hot (going in early August)
2. UK Plebs & Scumbags everywhere
3. McDonalds/British Food/UK Newspapers available everywhere
Any ideas welcome.

Pembrokeshire... :D
Corsica. Lovely place. Hire a car, maybe - the island is well worth exploring properly rather than being stuck to one location.
Try the west coast of France - the Charente Maritime region, near the Gironde estuary.

Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
Thanks for the tips, Corsica had appealed, along with Sardinia, but so does France. We stayed in a Gite last year in the north of France (Nord Pas De Calais) and had a wonderful time - but we were very lucky with the weather....I don't think my kids could put up with driving that far south, though, so I would need to look at flying & then hiring a car.
Borneo..did last August..approx 30degrees C and food good..wildlife and beaches great.
Having been to both a few times, I'd choose Corsica every time - it just offers so much more - although they're so close by ferry there's no major reason for not visiting both. Anyway, good luck choosing, wherever you end up going :thumbup:Corsica had appealed, along with Sardinia
A Med cruise will suit all of you.
Anywhere but here!
