A quick snap of my newest arrival.

This one arrived the other day from Keith at Tiktox.com

Looks pretty smart too - just the job for a daily wearer I reckon. Loads of features as you'd expect, atomic, solar, world time etc etc also a useful backlight and pretty good lume as well.

I like that Ed. What's the bracelet and clasp like? I struggle to get the resin one to fit nicely and it drives me to distraction!

G Shocks are brilliant - especially the atomic updates and solar power models, but I've not yet found the perfect jobbie for me. There was a Ti one in SC the other day/week that tempted me, but I held off in the end because I thought it would go unworn.

Peter this one is on the resin strap and whilst it fits me 'length wise' it is a little bit stiff, hopefully it might get a bit more pliable with wear.

They do one on a black bracelet which looks very 8) but it does cost about twice as much.

As it happens I originally ordered the rather cheaper all analogue GW-2000 but that turned out to be out of stock so Keith kindly offered me this one instead for the same price. :)

    I like that one :D

For the time being I'm enjoying the Argos Special (a belated thanks for the heads-up is called for), and the resin strap fits marvellously :D

A collection of G-Shocks is the last thing I need, yet I find myself looking at them often lately  :D

    Cheers

Cheers Ed - I wonder if they do one on a Velcro strap?

A bit of searching reveals that it can be done (with some Protrek strap adaptors). Details here:

I've just ordered some for mine, I'll post some pics etc up when they've arrived and I've had a play.

Not bad looking at all Ed :thumbright:

I bought some adaptors for a Nato strap from an ebay seller called westcoasttime, cost around US$ 18 incl. postage, arrived within a week :)

    Here's a link if anyone interested : http://cgi.ebay.com/Adaptors-22-24-mm-s ... 563fc2c163

    All the best,

    Gerry
