I would stick with that.
Always good to have a quartz and they dont come much better than that.
Ive just bought a Sinn UX as I have no quartz since I sold my 17Q, ideal to always have a watch ready to go.
EDIT
I've decided to stick 8) rather than twist - does anyone know if I can change the bezel colour on this 2264 (and if so any ideas how much it would cost)?
Thx for any comments.

Seeing as you can't think of any alternatives, I'd stick. It's a great quality quartz
twist
sell it and keep your lovely Speedmaster Alaska Project :)
Twist and buy a Breitling Colt.
If it was me IŽd either stick with it or get the automatic 2254.50.00 version instead - hard to think of a more classic and versatile choice at the price IMO :)
I had the 2254 once and regret having sold it :(
stick. its a classic. 8 out of 10 wisses cant be wrong. why you would consider flipping it if you dont even have a idea of whats going to replace it bewilders me... but having sad that, if you do want to twist, then pm me
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
Ha ha :) If only there was a right or wrong about it - it would make one's job of choosing that much easier. A Sub or a Speedy Pro, that's all that's on offer :DOriginally Posted by seikopath
If it was me I'd twist, and get something thermo-compensated. A deadly accurate quartz has a special ability that nothing else has - so if you're going to have quartz, have one that all the others are measured by, more or less. Sinns and Breitlings with TC'd movements are probably available as a straight trade for that Omega.
...but what do I know; I don't even like watches!
Do you have an auto seamaster as well?
Also great pic :)
Twist!
Too many other great watches out there not to..!
Stick, unless you go with PBRs recommendation.
That look is too classic to lose 8)
But I might be biased
I'd stick, i'm very happy with my recent purchase - Seamaster 2255 - and it looks really good on that Nato!
This is the only Seamaster. In fact it will be the only Omega once this sells http://www.tz-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=134410Originally Posted by jonny
So consensus view is to keep the 2264 (but maybe not Eddie's Bond nato :| ) unless I want to trade up to the 2254 :)
Its a cool quartz... keep it :)
Keep it.
I have the same watch (present from wife)
They are excellent VFM and great lookers.
Cheers,
Neil.
Stick.
I'm considering a quartz SMP as a beater.
I've decided to stick - BTW anyone know if it's poss to change the bezel colour and how much that would be?
Change the bezel to what ? - what other colours options are available ?
Morning btw :)
Stick with the watch, but twist the shirt, it's mumpin' :D
ofrei have other bezels that could fit. I would get the bezel removed rather than replacing the insert and risk damaging anything but then I have hooves when it comes to tinkering with watches...
Hello - I was hoping we'd meet up soon to discuss... :DOriginally Posted by MattH
Not sure if there are any options TBH - unless I want to follow some other members and stick the bezel in the oven to bake it
Don't think that's in my OED but I'll check. :DOriginally Posted by captainhowdy
Stick with it!
I bought that watch new twice and used 3 times...I like it very much and it always calls me back as a call to the Basics ;o).Originally Posted by pbr
It is a very very good watch that will never let you down. Best bracelet to head weight balance in the SMP line IMHO
