    A bumper crop..

With Harvest almost upon us my crop has just come in - after a frenzy of selling to raise funds I've had three new arrivals in the last 24 hours - Seiko BFK from Vicky, Seiko SBDX011 Emperor Tuna from Etienne, and the lovely PRS29B from Eddie. Very happy Steve today. How long before the flipping bug attacks again...

Now i like my Seiko's and I have seen the Tuna in the flesh, but it is one Seiko I just don't warm to for some reason and yet it has a huge following, now I have looked at the watch many times with a shall I or do I need this particular Seiko!,the face I like the case I do not! and this is what I find un-attractive {to me} about this Seiko, maybe it will!maybe it will never grow on me, only time itself will let me know the answer to that one..........but somehow I think time will just pass on by.

Well, compared with the SBBN011 or the SBBN013 the SBDX011 is a little bit taller and is quite a lot heavier.

I found that with the supplied rubber strap it sits too tall, so put it on an Eddie's 2-ring Rhino, easier to replace straps than on the SBBN011/13 as this one has drilled lugs :)

    My wrist is about 7.25"

It's no worse than a large G-Shock size-wise but despite the titanium/ceramic build is a heavy watch, I'll weigh it when I'm home at the weekend.

Of course the lume is outstanding

..but then again the lume on one of my other new arrivals is very pleasing too. The PRS29 is more accurate too, gaining less than 2 seconds today!

My pleasure to be able to supply for you this Harvest, Steve. :D

Looks great on that NATO. I look forward to collecting my Tuna from yourself from its temporary home in the sorting office. :)
