    Toshi

Recently bought two straps from Rich both for a lefty MM. The first is matte black with bright yellow stitching. Good solid construction, great finish. The second is from a batch of 60's vintage leather Rich managed to get his hands on again. This one isn't as thick but is much softer. I had this one stiched with natural coloured thread. Both have closed stiching and pre v spring bar buckles. The first has one floating keeper whilst I have fixed and floating keepers on the second. Great service from the point of ordering to delivery with Rich kindly given guidance along the way. A great british product from a great british chap.

    Re: Toshi

Just wanted to add my two-penneth to this thread. I have two Toshi straps now - a matte black / black stitching / black pvd buckle, and a vintage strap / natural stitch / polished buckle, from a recent leather find by Rich. Probably the same batch as Shotgun66's actually :)

Both are top notch quality - very comfortable and very well built.

No problem in recommending Toshi Straps to anyone looking for a treat for their watch (and wrist!).

I'm sure these two are just the start of my collection :)

And i will second that...i've 3 Toshis including one of the vintage ones mentioned above. All superb workmanship and really lift the watch they are on. rich's customer service was second to none and i fully expect further purchases to be made!

These are great straps. I have a matte black with black stitching on a CW 8 IPK; a tobacco with dark brown stitching on a black MM and on order a black with orange stitching for an Orange Monster.

    Re: Toshi

Rich knows how to match up the appearence of the watch with a strip of leather and then brings out the best in both with the stitching.

    Re: Toshi

I to was over the moon with the quality of Rich's strap and help, It is the first strap that looked like it had been made to suit my 8.25 wrist. I think it will be the first of many.

You wont be dissapointed in either the quality, the service or the man himself, all of which are excellent. But be prepared to frown on most other straps once you have one, I'm up to five now and they are displacing some expensive stuff in the process. :)

I put a black Toshi with black stitching on my Speedbird3 and couldn't be happier with the result.
Great website, great product, great service, great value. All in all - great. :)

I had Rich make me two straps for my Panerai 212.

A vintage brown strap with a light tan colour stitching and a matte black strap with grey stitching.

Both are superb and his service and workmanship is spot on.

I am on my sixth Toshi strap, and starting at £55, I think they are excellent value.

The Gallery on Rich's website is also an excellent place to get inspiration (read copy) for strap and stitching colour combinations.

Moreover, I want my British money going to a British business first and foremost.

    Great customer service too.

I didn't actually like the Toshi that I bought. I sold it the day after it arrived.

But! No doubt...excellent service, excellent quality and workmanship. If the strap suits you then they're very good indeed.

I have 4 straps from Rich now, and I love all of them.

I'm lucky enough to live just a 20 minute drive from him, so I've been down to see him a few times.

Excellent quality straps and even makes me tea when I'm there.

    Top bloke :-)

PS: Rich should put these comments in his testimonial section! (Not that it needs more!)

I've bought two straps direct fromn Rich and the other 3 have been from the sales corner - all are excellent

The best part is that they get better with age (unless you're lucky enough to have one of those gorgeous vintage straps)

    Re: Toshi

I posted in April that I had two Toshis with which I was very pleased. I now have 6 which I have bought direct from Rich and an early Toshi which I recently bought from JonW in Australia.
They are all excellently crafted, good value and the service Rich offers is second to none.
Memo to me - must buy another watch in order to justify another strap

I have 2 of Rich's straps and I get compliments everytime I wear the watches they are on. My favorite is one that Rich made for my Anonimo Polluce with an orange dial. It is simply the most stunning strap I have ever seen.

If YOU would like to see it, I would be pleased to post a PHOTO but so far I just can't seem to break the code for posting. If anyone has any advice for using iWeb as a host I would be most appreciative. My other Toshi is on a JOA hommage.

    Re: Toshi

What's the expected life on the glue used to bond each end of the keepers on Rich's straps?

I've got a strap that's only a few weeks old and the glue has completely come apart already. I have emailed Rich directly but thought I'd ask here for a wider audience.

Having looked at Rich's website for ideas for my PRS-5 I still can't decide! A fantastic website and on the only occasion I have emailed him he was very helpful.

Well I have just (literally) bought my second Toshi from Holmefield as I was delighted with the first. I was going to buy in the new year from Toshi but Holmefield's was exactly what I was going to spec! It is so responsible to recycle these days.

    I've lost count!
After spending quite a few quid on the watch, how nice is it to spend very little more and have a strap made, in the finest materials for YOU.
I've even started consulting Rich before I make a purchase of the actual watch these days....Can make a huge difference once complete.

Would just like to add that I bought a Toshi 22mm with Matt buckle some 18 months ago.
The strap is still like new & the most comfortable strap iive ever had.

Have no fear, the straps are unsurpassed for material finish & quality.

    Cheers
    Darren
