so so good,a simply stunning watch. As regards the comparison with the GO I've been fortunate to own one
and it was a special watch indeed but this Dornbluth looks of similar pedigree so once the dust settles it'll be interesting
to know your thoughts :)

I have already exchanged a couple of mails with Dirk and as I am approaching my 40th Birthday (next September..) I might just have found my 'gift'.
These guys are absolutely top in terms of communication; I posted here that I sent a request for information and a price list yesterday afternoon, the list was there this morning at 9 and after a couple of mail exchanged between me and Dirk, I am almost convinced that I would like to order.... :drunken:

Me too, can't let a watch that beautiful pass by without comment. This seems to be step up in terms of elegance even from the Stowa Marine Original. Off to look at the Dornblüth website and then I'm going to cry because I can't afford one :D The only possible way to cheer me up would be more pictures ;)

Very much agreed. Currently the base spec 99.1 can be had for as little as 3,400, which for what you get is IMHO a bargain.

Just seen this. It's a great watch. I agree that it really shines on the strap not the bracelet. I am immediately researching my next purchase (defying promise to myself not to buy any more watches ever).
