You'll probably find something with large hands I would have thought*
*on a watch, of course.

Advice #1: Check carefully the Supraorbital Ridge, although apparently these can be buffed down pretty effectively these days
Advice #2: The Seiko main outlet in Bangkok apparently had/has good deals going, cheaper than Japan

If taking the Mrs, remember to pay corkage at customs
Serious answer: Thailand is not the place to buy a watch as "a bargain".
Huge (up to 350%) import tax on Luxury Goods will see to that...
Having said that, there are some superb Thai market only Seikos available and also a plethora of Asia-market only models too.
My Stafish Monster for example.
I also saw (and have since reserved!) a brand new Samurai Ninja LE in an AD's window. Going to collect it next month I think and will be on the lookout for at least teo other watches that I've been asked to source for TZ'ers! :D
Thanks for the info I am after a samurai myself but thought they were discontinued , will def have alook for one of those bargain or not . what sort of money were they being sold for . Asia only models were what I wanted to know about .Originally Posted by Tai Mi Shu
I've seen Seiko prospex for sale there. can't say if they were cheaper or not though.
Some funny pics on this thread
The "list" price on the Ninja was around 17500THB but I negotiated some discount. It pays to speak a bit of Thai :wink:Originally Posted by markie3182

You should be able to pick one of those up for around £200, or £600 here (on eBay)!!
