    The Bourne Legacy

The fourth film in the Jason Bourne series looks like it will feature neither Jason Bourne or Matt Damon. Apparently, Paul Greengrass didn't want to direct it, and Matt Damon wasn't interested if Paul Greengrass wasn't directing. Doesn't fill me with enthusiasm for the film.

Sounds a bit pointless to me......a Bourne film without Jason Bourne/Matt Damon

Indeed, one that will result in a straight to DVD job if they get it wrong.

    Sounds terrible. :(

Sadly I fear this may become known as 'The Bum Legacy', which is a shame as the current trilogy are top notch.

    Eh?
Wasnt it only written as a trilogy?
At least I thought it was.

Sounds like the start of the James Bond franchise to me.

I am a massive fan of the Bourne Trilogy, and IMO it will be difficult to change the mix and have the same excellent end results.

Must be easy for any half decent film director to do fast action movies , as long as the story is a R Ludlum novel they could get rowan atkinson to play JB .

Meh, there were only 3 books written by Ludlum, the fourth is written by a nobody IMO. Though the books have very little relation to the films, so very different (the trilogy still ranks as my favourite action books)

I feel the RC one was truer to the book though
