I'm yet to find an all balck watch (where the bracelet is also black) that I like. Most I've seen look knackered after a few months proper wear. Or alternatively look cheap and plasticky from the off.

It's OK & works pretty well with the balance of the piece. However still don't like Merc hands.
"Double Red" is a lie. "Double Red" in the context of Rolex means something very specific. Scribbling over two words in crayon does not make a "Double Red". It it analogous to me adding COMEX with a white Letraset to a Sub and flogging it for five figures.

Well they're not lying, it does have a Red Script of two lines on it... ;)
Double Red was nothing special from Rolex, it was just a run of them it's just their rarity that has made them 'special'.
Definitely not my cup of tea.
