Hi and welcome, i'd like to see the Constellation.
Hello Everyone,
First post to say hello. Joined last week and have greatly enjoyed reading all the posts. Don't know a lot about watches but I am finding myself getting greatly addicted.
Own 2 watches, an early 90's Tag F1, yellow face and steel case and strap, and a 1966/67 Omega Constellation Automatic Chronometer with beads of rice strap. The Omega is my every day watch and the Tag only gets used on holiday because its sturdier than the Omega and is waterproof.
Currently gaining an obsession with Cal 1045 Speedmasters and I think I will be purchasing one soon, but can't make up my mind which model I like best.
What has amazed me is the number of expensive watches with names that I have never heard of, but I must say I am enjoying looking and reading about them.
Any way just thought I would say hello,
Cheers
Kevin

Hi kevin and welcome from another new member. :)
jim.
Hi Kevin, Welcome.
Thanks everyone again, nice welcome.
I have tried another upload to see if its any better for those who have shown an interest in the Constellation
Welcome. Be sure to check out:
http://chronomaddox.com
and especially (as the site isn't easy to navigate!):
http://chronomaddox.com/omega/articl...arkSeries.html
if you're considering a 1045 (though a MkIII with a 1040 would be my recommendation...!)
Thanks 2wrists, I have read that chronomaddox articles loads, very good. The problem I have is I like all of them, and my worry is I end up getting one and then decide I want one of the others and so on. I am sure this is probably the usual sort of behaviour and how the obsession begins for those on the site.Originally Posted by 2wrists
