That sounds fantastic. Matt - thanks for organising this, and hope it goes well!
If I wasn't stuck in Qatar, I'd be there with my boots blacked!
Good Morning,
On the 15th November at 6pm (next Monday!) there will be an event for members of TZ-UK to see our Grand Seiko watch collection before anyone else (you can also see the collection at Salon QP).
Someone senior from Seiko UK will be there as well to answer any questions.
We will of course provide some nibbles and drink as well. Your more than welcome to bring cameras and take photos. For security please can you message me if your coming as the shop will be closed to the public. This is not a commercial event, just a friendly chance to try on the watches.
Address: 3 Burlington Gardens, London, W1S 3EP
Thanks
Matt

Brilliant, shame I'm located in Holland :)
Cheers,
Daddel.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
Sounds great, I just wish I could be there :(
Hopefully there will be a report with plenty of piccies :D
Sounds great, and I definitely will be there, no doubt wearing mine :)
I'll take some photos and post them here afterwards, and I'm happy to meet up beforehand if anyone fancies a drink (drop me a PM). Many thanks for the opportunity, Matt.
And I'll be located in Jordan.Originally Posted by Daddelvirks

Grr.... can't make it next week :(
Well done for organising this.
Whoever goes, please post pics!
Cheers,
Thanks for organising this, Matt. I'm now frantically trying to re-schedule the beginning of next week so I can come along :bounce: :bounce:
Matt
I'm afraid I have a prior engagement, but thanks for the kind offer.

Not sure about an evening... daytime yes.
Any chance of a sneak preview in the day Matt?
I've been thereatening a 'watch shop crawl' before the West End gets too busy with tourists and shoppers, so this would be ideal if you can accomodate a daytime visit.
Neal, Rich, Jay.... anyone? If interested please PM me because this is just the opportunity I needed.
And I'll be located in Jordan.

Does your wife know?
Cheers,
Daddel.

Can't make that one (kind offer that it is), but see you at SalonQP on Thursday night Matt.
The day is harder to organise as we will have passing customer in the store and having watches handed around everywhere is a security issue.Originally Posted by PeterM
But if there was just a few of you then I am sure we could accommodate you, not on the 15th, but 16th onwards, let me know and I will organise it for you.
Matt

While we're trying our luck, any chance you could whizz up to Manchester on the train with a bagful of your finest? I'll meet you at Piccadilly Station if it helps! :DOriginally Posted by JuraWatches
Seriously... would love to come to your "do" but I can't get to that London that day.
Very cool. I'm certainly going to make an effort to attend. (I'll follow instructions and email Matt when I'm convinced I can go.)
Best wishes,
Bob
ohh.. thats tempting..... I was in Jura a few weeks back have a quick nose around.. very dangerous shop to be in !
So you don't fancy a GP then ;)
Ok so I am going to go..... not seen any of the Grand Seikos in the flesh...
I was supposed to be in Edinburgh next Monday but it looks like one of our suppliers has let us down. What a splendid silver lining.
In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
That could work. I'll PM you to see what's possible once I can pin down the day in question.Originally Posted by JuraWatches

I'll be there. Matt, have dropped you a PM.
Peter, could possibly meet up - will drop you a Pm as well.
Definately going to make it along to this.
If someone posts where you are going to meet for a drink, I will try and make it but may be tight for time.
alex

What a great response!
We have 14 confirmed so far, so it should be good.
Paul our store manager will be there, Patrick one of our senior sales guys and resident Grand Seiko fan(and anything Japanese, try not to get him started..) and Mark from Seiko UK.
We have not even seen any samples yet, so we are all very excited to get our first play with the stock.
Will we get frisked on the way out ;)
Please consider a road show in B'ham!
Only as a special request :roll:Originally Posted by MattH

What a great offer, and good marketing too!
Don't live in London, but happen to be up later in the week, sadly can't make the evening but will pop in as a regular customer to check out the GS and some Sinn.
Regards,
Chris
A road show - yes please. Would love to see some Sinn, Fortis etc... in the flesh.
Have fun everyone!
+1 I'd be up for thatOriginally Posted by psikat
I'll be in the neighbourhood on Monday so most likely I will be there. Would you be able to accommodate 15 people in the shop though?
Pavlos
Unfortunately I'll still be out of the country so I won't be able to make it. I'll have to come in when I'm back early next year!
I will try to make it along too from Feltham way, what is the closest tube station to Jura please?
