I'm game, David!
...planned for run up to Chrimbo chaps? :)
Cheers, David
Me too
The 15th December in London would be a good date, I'm going to the Haslinger Heuer auction at Bonhams and should be free in the evening, I wonder if anyone else here will be there?
"A man of little significance"
I'm up for a G2G too, depending on date (can't make the 15th)
.....I'm also free anytime up to, including, and beyond the 15th December, perhaps that could be a starting point for further developments??
I would be coming into London via Waterloo so it might be good to gauge where's best to meet up, and I'll go with the flow / suggestions as I am but a transient Southerner. :bigsmurf:
I've been hoping too, but the best idea that I've heard is to do one in the New Year when everyone has got over the xmas silliness and work/family commitments. Work for me is often much slower then as well.
If anyone's interested in a Surrey GTG in January then can we arrange that?
Paging the ninja cave, would Darren please go to the courtesy phone........
January would suit me very much as well as I have a few travels planned before I wind my neck in for the holiday period.
In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
I should be able to make most dates with a few days notice ..
/vince ..
Jan suits here too! ;)
I should be around 17th Dec - 10th Jan.... between jobs at that time...
Almost any date with a few days notice should be fine for me.
That would be a great idea..
Yeah, sorry, desperately busy these days; life will be calmer in January and it seems like it will be better for many here. Venue? Well, we've been to two in the Kingston area. Any suggestions for others? Would prefer places with car parks so I can drive rather than walking with numerous watches through London's streets!
I'd be up for something in January (prefer Surrey)
I'd be up for a gtg depending on date but can't do 15th either.
Sometime early January 2011 would indeed suit me better............. :|
I can't do 15th but Jan would suit well.
Another newby question but what is a GTG? Please?
Hi BF, its a Get To Gether......and you are very welcome.Originally Posted by budfox88
I guess it looks like it's going to be in the New Year then.....
Depending on date and time... (I work in the City, but live bloody miles away)... I'm another one going with the flow.
I'm up for a Jan GTG!

I'd be interested too, obviously dependent on date and time. London is fine as the trains are usually trustworthy*.
*Humour obviously intended...
I'd be up for something in Jan too.
Cheers,
Peter.
Hi guys, Ive not been to one of these GTGs before but would love to. If this is open to all then would definitely try and make it in the new year.
Cheers
Just got back from a great little GTG and am pleased as punch :D
Great company, great watches and bloody awful coffee. Still suffering from severe watch overload though and looks like it's going to cost me...
Sincere thanks to everyone who came along and to shadowninja/Carlton-Browne for the organisation :thumbright:

Good to see you guys again. I am sure your WIFE can deal with your watch problem. It may not be a pretty outcome, though.

A very pleasant few hours (apart from the coffee and all that temptation :) )
Great to meet some new faces and ones I've seen before. And some fine watches to check out - great day out and some interesting stories swapped over the coffee. See you at the next one I hope :D

Thanks all for a great afternoon and Shadowninja and C-B for organising - was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon :)
Right, roast dinner in 20 minutes for me having told the missus I had a small salad for lunch :D
To be fair, the salad was quite small.......the burger and chips weren't :wink:Originally Posted by Mr Stoat

Again, thanks to Darren and Alan for organising. Lots of temptation on the table :)
Cheers,
Peter.
Obviously I missed something in the posts....from Dec 16th when people were still asking about at potential GTG, then fast forward to Jan 16th, when the discussion is all about the one that just happened.....wow time flies in this TZ world!!!
