There was a bit of debunking about them recently on the TV. After the investigation into the claims versus the evidence, John Lewis stopped selling them as well as at least one other major retailer (but I can't recall which one).

yeah they just look like a rubber bracelet a bit like the help for heroes type ones with a sticker on them but you see loads of sports personalities wearing them just wondered if anybody had tried one

What do you think that wearing a rubber band around your wrist could possibly do for you? Apart from possibly reminding you to do something. :D Now if it had magnets in it, or Quartz crystals, or was possibly made of the purest Unobtainium, that might make a difference of course.
