No, we're not doing that again. Despite detractors complaining about symmetry, the SB3 has been my most successful watch ever.Originally Posted by mr1973

I predict this will be a pretty good seller too and the perfect business travel watch.
How come the triangle at the top missed out on some lume though?
Finally! He took me seriously!

Because most people send things off to Bry1975 for modification and I thought "If I put lume on the triangle, Bry will probably go out of business".Originally Posted by Dazzler
Actually it was to keep the triangle the same as the numbers.

Super looking watch!!
This is gonna be a monster hit
I'm desperately trying to think of any reason to 'need' a GMT...
Because you haven't got one...Originally Posted by Jonmurgie

Need for a GMT - managing the time difference from Cheltenham to, say, Ipswich, which always feels like a time zone has been crossed..
I suspect the stress of waiting is causing me to post rubbish..
..refresh button on my laptop has seized from overuse...
TBH it's that really... since discovering Eddie and his fine watches there have only been a few I've not sampled and several I've bought new.Originally Posted by andyjay
Have we done the speculation on price yet? Regular SB3 is £340 so what's this one likely to be?
Does it matter, I would have thought you would hold out for a DN GMTOriginally Posted by Jonmurgie
It wouldn't surprise me if that didn't make it until nearer Christmas... or we could be pleasantly surprised!!Originally Posted by andyjay
Either way I'm going to have a find some friends abroad to make use of any GMT function, and that's not as easy as it sounds ;)
Since when did 'need' ever come into the equation when it comes to watches? :shock:Originally Posted by Jonmurgie

Really liking this - haven't got a GMT in my collection at the moment, so can't wait for it to be released for sale :drunken:

Have to agree here, whilst I know what the answer will be, I'm surprised that the lume colour isn't the same. :(Originally Posted by neunelfer
That is a beautiful watch, Eddie.
Congratulations on another winner.
Beautifully understated in all ways.
It wasn't an accident you know. If you look at one of the Sinn watches, they have 3 different colours.Originally Posted by bydandie

I think the 3 colours work well as a point of differentiation. Especially with the GMT hand.
Beautiful Lume shot, I take it the next picture in this slow reveal with be the ivory dial GMT
Dear Eddie, you don't need to show me any more pictures, you have already closed the deal.
I like the multi-colour lume. VArying lume irritates me when its clearly meant to be the same colour, but with different colours its good. 8)
I like the lume shot. I already have two GMT's.
Now that is just lovely 8)Originally Posted by swanbourne

:D Blue lume, very cool.
Bleeding spectacular and brilliant design. :thumbleft:
A red lume triangle would have completed the watch
This is the first time I've read the whole thread and saw that a couple of people have requested numbers already - and if I could, I would very much like 007 - for the obvious reasons
As soon as they are available, I'm on it with the credit card :)
Go On Eddie, hit the update button
TBH, it'll look different in the flesh and is starting to grow on me. Do you take children in part-ex? :)Originally Posted by swanbourne

Depending on how your good lady is, do you have any idea when these may go on sale or is that a stupid question and i should retreat to a quite corner within the local library and have a jolly good think about what i have just said!

Buggery! I am tempted too, especially with a limit of 100, but then just as I was about to click and I thought...do I prefer the original?!Originally Posted by cmcm3
Wonder how long these will last, gone by tea time?
Just do it, if there's only 100 you'll not lose much if anything if you need to offload in future. Also look at it as a contribution to keeping this wonderful forum running. :)
Ordered one. So cheap it is almost for free. Sometimes I think Timefactors is a non for profit entity, a charity for WIS :) .
It is actually cheap as hell for what you're getting. I mean absurdly so. 8) ONly 42 left already! :)Originally Posted by angeche
