After another close fought bidding war at 4am, this lovely looking number will be winging its' way to me from shores afar......ah.....
I just love the design of these old GPs, it's interesting to see how this shape evolved into what is now their '1945' design, except this is the real '1945' :mrgreen:
Will post some more shots in due course when it arrives against a modern version for comparison.

Yes it is from the US in both senses, as the inner case marking showing that it is a US piece, movement probably swiss, but cased up in the USA by different makers such as Wadsworth, Star Watch Co, Keystone and Bell&Ross.Originally Posted by Neil.C
