Gets my vote, again needs to be on a vintage leather strap though
Moz was in Dublin yesterday and I came across this photo...now before you look, have a guess what he might wear. He's known as a pretty sharp dresser, good taste in suits and shirts and such...

This is Watch Talk, isn't it? The Bear Pit is the place for discussion of Stephen's political/ethical views.

Perhaps he shoplifted it? Those shoplifters are taking over...

Panerai!
I'm so very sickened.
Ohhh, I am so sickened now.
:D  :D
Stop me if you've.... seen this one before - what model is it?
It's just a matter of time...
I would never in a million years have considered him a panerai man!
I suppose you just have to take morrissey for what he is. He likes to shock and, as with all celebs who like to shock, he's got himself a self-appointed cause. Nothing new there.
And like all the celebrity do-gooders out there, he still manages to cover himself with luxury goods in a world where cute puppy dogs are eaten in poor countries and children starve. Thats the nature of the game - we live in a world where spiritual leaders wear more bling than drug dealers and billionaire actors and recording artists visit famine victims while wearing watches that would feed the entire region for a year!
But who are we to judge them? Its morrisseys money and thats a nice watch!!
Or he beat up an immigrant for it at the infamous Finsbury Park gig.Originally Posted by barneygumble

It means nothing to me, oh wait, that was Midge Ure
He's worn panerai for a few years now, doesn't seem to have a huge collection as that's the one he wears mostly.

I'm not a good Pam reader so anyone knows the number :?:
Does he use it to work out How Soon Is Now?

He's alright is Mozzer. The sun shines out of his behind.
I feel a bit depressed with this thread, oh that's just normal in connection with the Smiths :-(
Panerai would be the last thing I expected.
But then, I'm not really sure I give a shit what watch he wears.
Fairly sure its a Panerai 352

Jim Davidson's a bad comparison then. Perhaps the late Bernard Manning might be a better one? He never apologized either. Indeed, whenever I've seen Morrissey perform on TV, I always imagine he'll stop singing half way through a number and tell the audience a Manning gag ("...they've got beautiful smiles though, haven't they? Like full beam..."). The few Morrissey fans left presumably enjoy the same pariah status Manning's fans did. Unembarrassed to the last.
Anyone guess what he's wearing here, on either wrist?
Dan
'Time's tide will smother you' - even Panerai wearers
I still think Johnny Marr was the brains of that outfit! Johnny is too cool to even wear a watch

So did I - until I saw this

Legend! And Mozzer's not too bad either though not a patch on what he was as part of The Smiths. Like a couple of you I wasn't really surprised to see him in a Panerai however what is the point? I mean what are a vegan's strap options?????
