Hi Chris & welcome
Is that a PVD'd or DLC'd vintage Seamaster?
Whatever the finish is, it looks lovely :salute:
Hello everyone,
I've been lurking here for a while and have finally registered for this great forum.
I hope I can contribute a little and share my collection with you all.
About myself, I have been collecting for about 7 years now, and am mainly into vintage Omega, although I do have a lot of the other well known brands, modern as well as vintage.
I'll keep it short as I have attempted this introductory post about 4 times now and each time something has gone wrong...
Anyway here are a few pieces from my collection to give you an idea...
Cheers Chris

Welcome! Nice photos, like all of those watches but the first one in particular is very distinctive. I have two vintage Omegas myself, nice to have.
Just saying hello and welcome, nice collection by the way.
Hello.
Great pictures, love that Seamaster.
Welcome aboard Cristos :D
Hello and welcome to the madhouse.
Great watches by the way, and look forward to seeing your others.
No doubt you'll be tempted to increase your collection / decrease your bank balance.
Great fun though.
Cheers,
Ian.

Yes this is a vintage Seamaster 145.0023 from The Hard Metal Collection, 1970.
It is a steel case hardened with tungsten bombardment and the finished with a PVD cap.
That it is one of the things I like so much about Omega, innovative products that were somewhat ahead of their times.
Here is the other version without the PVD.
Cheers Chris
Welcome Chris. Thanks for posting those photos. They are really nice Omegas you have there.

Welcome to the fold and thanks for an intro full of win!
Superb watches... really like the PVD never seen one before.
Can I have first refusal on it please, when the madness takes over you and you need to fund the grail ! :D

Still missing you...the one on the right.
