That's lovely...can you point me towards any info on the less sexy version I'm wearing today?

Thanks very much Nigel :D , nothing wrong with the smaller cased "Geneve" models and I've had a couple of those and the cal 920 date versions. Great little watches and there's a wealth of info there for you in Gary's link.
Nice...Can I ask which model that is?Originally Posted by dougjb

It looks rough, but the texture is actually very nice to the touch. It wears great.
The modding process was an absolute nightmare with 'cross Atlantic' delays and broken parts, but the result is worth it (almost).
Luckily, I had some good people on my side doing the mod, so the nightmare was not their fault.
Eddie helped with a free gasket, even though I modded one of his beloved creations. He does not even like it when some one changes the strap on one!
Oris Miles Complication for me.
This one is slightly higher and wider than the Miles Day Date I had recently and has blued hands.
This one today...
I noticed that either side of "Germany" there is a "T"...does this refer to the lume material. I don't know if I am seeing things but the markers have changed colour from new.
This later...

Seriously, I would have to say 'T' for Tritium.
Thank you - I am pretty pleased with it!Originally Posted by Mrcrowley
It really is called a "Miles Complication" by Oris. It has day, date, moonphase and a second independent hour hand (GMT)
Another Vintage Seiko today, this one's from the dark side.
Have a great weekend everyone :)
:) Cheers for that, am I right to assume that the lume will discolour as seen on vintage pieces?Originally Posted by WatchScout

And still lovelier...Thanks for the link, Gary. I was aware of the Drivers, but I hadn't realised until today how much I needed one...that's another few hundred quid that TZ has cost me!
Been doing manual work all week - so went for something indestructible ...
