Thread: The New IWC Portofino

    The New IWC Portofino

My wife has a vintage IWC Portugueser 325 but has always fancied the IWC Portofino. I have just seen the new versions at 40mm and they look exquisite! Does anyone have a clue about the prices? Really love the Roman numerals at XII and VI. Do these have open or closed backs?

Here is the link but they have no pictures of the backs and no prices.

    Cheers

    Rob

I can't help on the prices but these have closed backs, engraved with a view of Portofino from the sea.

I was in Fraser Hart yesterday where the assistant took the time to show me the brand new catalogue that did have prices.
They were showing me on-screen only, and weren't able to give me a copy.

If you call I'm sure they will share details ... we skimmed through it quite quickly, and think I remember noting a number of new watches that showed RRP £3000 - think this was one of them.
