Thanks for that, I really like the glycine and the tissot seastar.
You can keep the Eberhard (sp?) though!!
Chris
shown yesterday, hope you enjoy:

Thanks!
The Seiko chrono-diver is top of my wish-list now 8)
Cheers,
Daddel.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
Yes, the Tissot is nice, I also like the non-chrono Corums, just because they are a bit different.
Glycine for me, but that's because I'm a simple man!
“Don’t look back, you’re not heading that way.”
Can't see anything to get excited about there.
Thanks for posting these photos.
Actually quite impressed with the Tissot Seastar.
regards,
Nick
Danke, Roger!!
Hamilton looks good.
The PO Chrono stands out for me
The hamilton is pretty nice considering its likely price point, the rest dont really do anything for me although i would like to see the Corum up close
+1. Like the Glycine, the non-nonsense deblinged watches really stand out.Originally Posted by Pablo
And thank you again for the pictures Mr Ruegger.
Nice subtle update of the Omega SMP IMO.
Glycine and Tissot for me too. Hamilton seem to be going for a retro look that I'd like to see in the flesh.
Thanks for posting. :)
Hamilton covered here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=160087Originally Posted by Optimum
It does look lovely but at 45mm... :(
I agree. 8) I like the date window being a circle, and the numeral within the date window being upright and not tilted.Originally Posted by Daddelvirks
I like the Tissot, do you know how much it will cost?
Thanks for the pictures!
thanks for the pics Roger.
I really like those Certinas and Bond Seamasters. it looks like ceramic bezel inserts on both watches.
Cheers! :)Originally Posted by gentlemenpreferhats
Very informative and great pics, too, thanks for posting!
Love the look of that Seiko Ananta.
Liking the Certina and Tissot. Corums are horrid as usual.
The Tissot Seastar is spot on for me. It could be safely assumed that it will fall in at a decent price too so one for the VFM stakes to boot.
The new PO chrono looks stunning. The rest is nothing to talk about...
Thanks OP.
I like:
This for the name and possibly ceramic bezel?... (anything to do with Lotus cars?)
But think these all look similar with their buttons etc...
Thank you - some lovely watches there.
It's just a matter of time...
Hmm, I actually quite like the first and the third Corum.
With the exception of The White Planet Ocean not one of them did anything for me, Id buy that White PO if it was 45mm!

I thought that was a women's model... is it a man's? :shock:Originally Posted by 100thmonkey
Really liking the SuperOcean II Chrono. Was just looking at the complete new 2011 range on Breitling's website.
I think I'll go and order something tomorrow... 8)
About time I had a new watch.

is that a new PO or is that the liquid metal one, think it looks good either way, i would wear the white on the bracelet it looks good 8)
Agreed - the original was looking a bit tired and an update to freshen it was better than trying to force it as an unchanging "classic".Originally Posted by Gomers
The new PO-PO chrono doesn't do a lot for me but it's fixed the silly little subdials of the bought-in Piguet movement that was there before. The white PO with rubber and the one with all diamonds made me laugh, though
...but what do I know; I don't even like watches!
Quite a few nice looking watches ..Ohhh decisions... I'd have to say, not a big fan of the Eberhard 4 dial chronos but that one is looking pretty good

Hmm... the only ones that do anything for me there are the Tissot and possibly the Alpinas.
Thank you. Rather like the Alpinea's.
As discussed on the other thread the Hamilton is one of the nicest watches I've seen in a long time. The others don't really say "Buy me" though.
A big NO to the corum, a big YES to the Tissot and doubts on the Seiko ( I find it too conservative, without the interesting profile of the other Anantas).
And of course thanks for posting :) .
Yup, it's too samey.Originally Posted by angeche

Doesn't the bezel look strangely smeared/faded on this one:Originally Posted by Roger Ruegger (CH)
Hmmm... to me, it looks like all the rubber inserts Breitling's currently using...
Here's the next part:
On the latest part...bizarre watches, with some interesting bezels.....
like them all, would choose the Tissot.
Thought provoking that the cheaper watches are the best looking.......well, to me at least.
Glycine, Certina and Tissot looks great whilst the Corum and some of the other more expensive watches looks like clown watches.
The Seiko and even the BreitBling does not look half bad, though their respective dials are a bit too busy for me.
The Tissot looks like it has been bit by a JLC Navy Seal ...or it that just me?
Especially the dials, all with the same applied indexes look very boring and they all seem to copy the current IWC Aquatimer. Glycine and Tissot are not bad.
I'm not a fan of the sort of 'washed out' grey that seems to be appearing.
I love that Hamilton, and I've always got time for a Doxa.
The others I can take them or leave them. Which is a real shame because I'm a big Breitling fan.
Like the white seamaster , new one on me
To me too.Originally Posted by WatchScout

Many thanks to the OT for the trouble to display such a ´wide´ array.
Imo however in a narrow concept of the same both in engines and dive lóók.
I really like that Glycine watch..
