Looks fantastic - enjoy!
Thanks to all those who bought during my clearout and for all the positive comments about our move to live on a yacht out there. I thought some of you may like to see what you helped me buy. She is a 47ft Beneteau Oceanis and is 4 years old. So on the 1st of May its good bye rainy old Britain and the Tax man !!!!!
No fretting though the marina has wireless so ill still be on here.
Niall
Looks fantastic - enjoy!
Very nice and enjoy your new life.
I'm also flying out to Greece (Preveza) on 1st May for some sailing... Sadly I'll only be there for a week
That is one hell of a boat, enjoy your new life.
Looks fantastic, safe sailing! Perfect move.
I am so envious I could cry.

Fantastic boat and all the best with the move ! Rainy Inverness will soon be a distant memory.
I know nothing about boats so what gives with the two steering wheels ?
Living the dream, good on ya! 8)
Its for when the boat is heeling over. If you tack you can switch wheels which means you can see where you are going lol. Also looks alot better !!!!!
Niall
Lovely craft 8)

Very nice. Good luck with everything and keep us up to date
Alex
First of all - what watches are you gonna wear to go with her?
second: its a boat - you can go places. so you are not confined to Greece - come visit us over here!
Brilliant! Good for you for achieving what you wanted!
Best of luck, and do keep us updated with how it plays out :)
BTW not jealous, nope, not at all, no siree... honest...
Fabulous Niall!
What an adventure. I assume you are taking it out to Greece yourself?
Many years ago a friend of mine did the same with an ocean going catamaran, I never heard from him again. I hope he did OK.
Cheers,
Neil.
You're moving to Greece... to avoid tax? :lol:Originally Posted by Niall1975

...but what do I know; I don't even like watches!
I'm so jealous. Many people talk about making the break. Few actually do it!
Have a great time!
Peter.
Well done! Enjoy your new life in our fabulous islands and seas and keep us posted. If you are in Crete and need anything, don't hesitate to contact me. My personal favorite island is Santorini, but unfortunately I haven't visited many of our great islands, yet.
Well done Niall for living the dream,
many want to, but don't dare give up the 'security' of bricks/mortar (and the mortgage  )
Enjoy your life - a mate had one of these, sailed it from Greece to Norway (was not a ride in the park !!!) - beware of Biscay
loved it, and she behaved superbly
Cheers, Peter
Living the dream - fantastic!

I'm sure you'll do fine and with that tax your saving the watch collection will rise again :D
Lucky Sod!
I'll echo what someone said previously and ask what watch you will be wearing when sailing down there??
Thats a lovely looking boat. Good luck
Nice.
I recommend sailing to Skopelos if you haven't done so already It's a great little island.
Good luck.
Darren.
Nice boat, good luck and have fun.
Very envious — good luck to you.
Best of luck. It's a helluva change and I hope it all goes well for you.
Nice one Niall - we will of course need some regular updates.

When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks long into you.........
Very nice - and very brave.

Wowzers, good for you. So many people say they want to do this but never manage it/get round to it. Well done you. I am both impressed and happy for you.Originally Posted by Niall1975

Well, what will i wear on it, i still have my 2 Zeno Chrono's, Invicta Russian Diver and hopefully the Ocean 7 LM-2 thats on SC just now. Other than that looking at getting a DSSD and calling it a day on the collecting front (Famous last words). Will certainly give me a chance to get into Dive watches in earnest.
As for routes, its in Yalikavik, Bodrum in Turkey just now so only have to sail it over the islands. Heading for Athens first then when i get back onshore we're going to head for Corfu. After a year there we will decide whats next.
Many thanks for all the positive comments and ill keep you all posted with pics of my watches in various locations round the Med !!!!
Niall
