£2550 RRP
New Bremont released at Basel, the BC-Solo.
Borrowed Pic
I quite like the plain look to it compared to some of their other offerings.

But I do like the looks................
But then again loads can do that design for a fraction :D
Daddel.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
Is it me or does it look like a copy of the Mark XVI?
I rather like it, it's clean and clear, and looks to be a good use of the Bremont case design.

Clean. Not too shabby.....for a Bremont
I do NOT like the seconds hand.
I do not care much for the price either.....they must be taking the pXXX.
Nice. Nice but unexceptional looking.
I like that , possibly my favorite from Bremont so far. With a reasonable discount I think I might buy that one.
Best wait for the half price Goldsmiths* sale then ;)Originally Posted by numberjack
* worth noting that Goldsmiths actually no longer offer Bremont

I like that. Nice clean simple design.
Still a lot of money though.

I think it's the same 43mm case they use for the BC-S2.
I'm a Bremont owner and a big fan of most of their designs, but this one's pretty uninspiring imo. From the front on scans I've seen, look to suffer from short hand syndrome as well.
Nothing wrong with it, but not particularly inspiring IMO.
If I wanted this kind of watch I'd probably go for a Speedbird.
Remember it's COSC regulated, has an exhibition back, hardened triple case design... I think it offers excellent value for money... but then again maybe I'm biased...Originally Posted by Daddelvirks
43mm and comes in either white or cream dial markings. More pictures online if you look in the right places :P
I'd rather have a new Damasko with in-house movement for that sort of money :)Originally Posted by PIERS (UK)
Money for that watch goes to the outside AND inside of the watch.
A real flieger shouldn't have a display-back anyway :)
That said, it doesn't look to bad, as I stated.
Cheers,
Daddel.

not ANOTHER Bremont that has a minute hand that does not touch the minute markers..GOD THAT REALLY BUGS ME
Looks ok, put me down for one, when they are 50% discount again. :wink:Originally Posted by Daddelvirks
You had to draw my attention to that, did you not :lol:Originally Posted by Flashharry
Not a big fan of short hand syndrome, I must admit.
I like that - be the lume's lovely. :)
I like it a lot, but there's no way I'd get one over an IWC at that price.
They should of launched it at £1800 , and buck the trend of watch inflation , Im sure a lot of folk would be interested at this price point.
I really like that, a nice clean looking dial and only twice the price of a Sinn
I'd agree on that.Originally Posted by jonny
Their nicest looking watch yet IMO. Shame about the price - IMO............
There are no minute markers on the watch - they are only on the rehaut.Originally Posted by Flashharry
The hands look to be the same length as the Martin-Baker / U2 watch. On my MB, the minute hand grazes the minute track. All that's happened here is that minute track has been relegated to the rehaut. I'm not sure a minute hand *longer* than the second hand would be any better, to be honest. And the black outline to the hands doesn't really help either.
It's a nice addition to the range tho, although can't quite see why I'd take this over the MB2 or U-2, as there's only (apparently) a few hundred quid between them.
Of the looks I've seen so far - the vintage C3 on brown leather seems to be the best combo...
the bc-s2 range is slimmer than the mb2 but only by about 3mm.Originally Posted by hsukirk

Might make a decent used purchase - or with a good discount - full RRP is too high for my liking.
It's just a matter of time...
In House would would help..

Costume jewellery. Ouch!!!
IWC hommage to me.

From Time-Zone...............
The SOLO becomes the entry price point piece in the Bremont collection at $3,950 and there can be no denying that the watch represents incredible value for money when one looks at its technical specifications.
Probably that sinister Jorge.............. :D

Its case is absolutely nothing like an IWC's. But yeah, it's got a black dial with numbers on, and flieger hands ;).Originally Posted by Chinnock

WE! Not to you Daddel - but if that is incredible value for money I'm tripling my hourly rate for fun!Originally Posted by Daddelvirks

Uhmmmm it's all a bit dull, they make some ok watches but none are really different
Nothing special to be honest....
Bremont make some distinctive watches but this is not one of them. Regarding the price, they are double what they should be. Hardened three piece case? You can get a hardened two piece case from Rado for £800.
Sorry but it is a little too bland and overpriced for my taste.
Is the sad duck trying to escape up the rehaut? :D
Not keen on the small minute hand, but the case and the tritium coloured lume look nice.
As with most Bremonts I like the case design but the dial doesn't do it for me. Then the price starts putting me off even more.
Well, we all know now that you can get your Bremont's new for just under 50% of the MSRP so I say
I think most on here will know what you're referring to, but would you care to enlighten us as to where they're available at 50% of MSRP right now? I might not have to wait so long to pick up that MBII... :lol:Originally Posted by PekkaM

It looks ok, but I agree witth previous poster, I would have a Mark xvi IWC for that money or even a Damasko da36 for £710!

Looks like a change to their ussal thick designs, can't wait to get this one in stock
I don't think the designs are thick, just the pricing.Originally Posted by douglas newman
