New Baby Arrival!

Picked up my new purchase yesterday - an Omega Seamaster 'Baby Ploprof' :D

Its had the dial, date wheel and hands changed but I got the original parts as part of the deal

I thought the bracelet might feel odd to wear, but its so comfortable I don't want to take it off!

I'm really happy with it and can see my other Omega loosing wrist time to this from now on!!

Very, very nice! Is that the one Ian did all the work to? He spent ages rounding up the parts for that. He sells some great watches occasionally - I bought a beautiful Tudor Sub Lollipop from from him last year.

Just out of interest what drew you to this rather than say the seamaster 300?

Thanks for all the great comments, I went for this over the seamaster 300 as I preferred the squarer case of the BP and love the look of the orange hand.

I believe this is the watch Ian did. Good to know he comes recommended and he'd get another endorsement from me

Lovely piece! I have to agree that the baby is so much nicer than the big one. Even though the "real" proplof looks great in photos, it is just unwearable unless being used for its designed purpose. This one is a winner in every other situation. Enjoy owning it.
