Enjoy it.
In fairness to the wife, I am allowed to wear it this weekend. I'm off to my parents this weekend as I can't see them next weekend when my actual 40th is. She has agreed that I can wear it and show it to them, Result.Originally Posted by DMW536

Can't believe how even this came out!
I still see no advantage to the 16710 over the same movement in the 16750 - maybe if someone was after the 3186 movement in the 16710 case there might be a small argument to best of breed - but then I'd rather have the GMTIIc with the same movement and much better bracelet - that said I am fed up with mine and it will have to go back to Rolex at some stage - very disappointing for modern Rolex that has been home and "fixed" once!
It's just a matter of time...

I can't take the bloody thing off. It ooozes class.

It's a 16753.
It's stunning mate. Will be selling just about everything else in a minute to keep it!!
I've not been a great fan of Rolex but I admit this one has impressed me,
Very pleased with it.
Currently wearing it on a Hirsch Accent strap, a nice change from the PCL bracelet (but I'm ok with the bling, it suits the rest of the watch).
Show us a pic on the hirsch mate.

I managed to get my GMT master on the tele yesterday. S4C were doing coverage of the Welsh open brass band competition. I'm sure there will be only 4 viewers in abercwmscoot but still.
Same with the Sub 116610 the bracelet looks too small for the lugs on the latest Sub/GMT
Mine is a 16750. Two looks for the same watch.
'C' for me, although i haven't had the pleasure of driving one! So purely on looks alone....
1675 - Vintage is the best!

I thought I'd go for pink but apparently blue is more appropriate! ;-)
I'm in the RAF fanfare team for the wedding. Will be a nice gig.

A little late but check out my GMTIIc.
I have not acquired any other GMT so i can't compare but trust me when i say that the GMTIIc is brilliant. Maybe a little shiny but you can see from the picture that i found a remedy to this problem.
I also have a Nato "bond with a twist" due to arrive in a few days. I'll defo post pics!
I was going to buy a GMTc new, which is a massive jump for me as i think used is the way you should always go with these. I was all set and then. . .
I turned the bezel and it only had 24 clicks!! Gutted.
I am pleased to now be able to vote on this one. An unqualified -

Is that a bit like seeing nude figures in ink smudges?
Dear Lord...
I know I don't believe in you but please prove me wrong.
Please help me to resist selling my Breitlings in order that I may buy a GMT.
Thank you.

Recently added a jubilee to the accessories. Gives the gmt2 a totally different feel and I like it.
:-)
1675 - I've had this since new in 1980, well used but still going strong!
So the "c" is loosing by 14 votes!
Obviously the GMT and GMT2 are both classics. :-)
The old case is such a class act. Why on earth did they change it! It's a little like rolls and Bently. Now it's just a little too fat, where as before it had some sort of x factor that you can't quite buy! Sleek, cool classy classic, understated.
