Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
so i ordered my first precista watch, the speedbird gmt is on its way across the pond to the us. after all the great reviews here on tz about the the original speedbird i felt i needed one and i liked the gmt version best. can't wait to get it and throw it on a zulu :D
It's excellent - I'm sure you'll love it. Slight word of warning though - once off the bracelet, it can be tricky (but not impossible) to put it back on.

Arrived this morning, very happy with it so far.
I've taken the plunge and awaiting confirmation of my order from Eddie now. Question is when do I confess to the wife that I have "another" watch on the way!

I am still waiting for order confirmation, ie whether Eddie has stock, so no idea of the number yet!
i'm still waiting for mine to arrive, although it looks like it will be today. our post office tracking system sucks big *#$@. all it will tell me is the origin post is preparing shipment, but royal mail tells the story quite differently. royal mail says its in the US. so if past shipping from europe tells me anything when its been holding at my post office for 3-4 days it usually will be today or tomorrow. anyway will post wristies asap!
Good news - it is on its way now!! Will add number to the list on receipt.
