After this watch was discussed on here I was intrigued. After a couple of emails to Peter about customs issues I was set on ordering and then they had sold out! Another email with Peter assured me there would be more stock coming soon, and sure enough a couple of days later he contacted me saying they were available again. Last Thursday I paid for the watch, and it arrived with me today via Fedex (no customs charge...) before 9am! Mightily impressed, and the customer service from Peter was nothing short of excellent.
A few rough and ready iPhone pictures from the un boxing. This is actually the first watch I've bought brand new, something I've never really felt would be special but I did thoroughly enjoy it!
I'm open to suggestions on strap, I've already had one of Eddie's PVD nato's on it and it looks good.
I'll post some better pictures and thoughts on the watch later once I've cracked out the real camera.
To those worried about size I have a 6.75 inch wrist and I think it fits me just perfect.

Welcome to the club Matt. There seems to be a fair few of these that are in the UK/Ire and with TZ UK members.
I think mr Helson really hit a sweet spot with this watch and as you said he is a total pleasure to deal with.
On my own photos thread, I answered a question on the strap and said it will need replacing. As nice as it is, it is 'very' soft and (I'm no expert) feels like it won't last too long.
I'm very up for strap recommendations from fellow owners and forum members.
I look forward to the next batch of photos

when i was thinking of getting one, i was dead set on getting an isofrane for it. people on other forums say a lot of nice things about them and the look is just right on a vintage looking dive watch!

(For reference my screen here is calibrated and I have tried to get the colour of the orange lume as close to the watch as possible)
After living with the watch for 24hours I am very happy with it. It's comfortable to wear, the strap is alot softer than I anticipated so how long it lasts remains to be seen but I can't see it staying on this strap for long. I've already had it on Eddie's PVD Nato and I would love to see it on a mesh if I can find a nice one. Someone else recommended an ISOFRANE strap, and I like the look of those so thats another option.
The crystal looks great. I love the profile, and I often find myself staring at it for no other reason! It really is eye catching.
Many people commented on the lug to lug size, I don't have a big wrist at 6" 3/4 but I find the fit to be fine, although I wouldn't want to length any longer.
I can't comment on time keeping yet as I've not really set it to anything.
The lume is great. Even though the bezel markers are orange the lume comes through green. The orange lume to the dial and hands comes up orange (stronger by quite a bit on the hands) I've not had chance to test how long into the night this remains visible yet. When looking at the watch in the dark, or dim light it takes on a sort of three coloured look because of the colours & lume strength, making the watch very easy to read.
I like the watch design in general, the bezel looks sharp and has an edging I've not seen before. The crown screws down and the date is quick set.
I apologise for the poor lume shot. Perhaps I'll update with something if I can be bothered to fish out the tripod.

Thanks for the xtra pictures Matt. After less than 1 day at home, mine is now in hibernation until my Birthday in a few weeks time and I'm mourning its temporary loss :(
Looking at straps in the mean time and thinking of getting Eddie's 'Retro Strap in Polyurethane'. Looks very like the Isofrane, but at a fraction of the price. I don't recall where I read it, but I came across a review of a group of somilar straps (including the two mentioned) and Eddie's compared very favourably.
I like the tropic in the pics. Very period.

Still looking at straps for the Skindiver and found these Hirch options. Not cheap, but very nice.
Nice watch. Good pics from some good angles. Really like the dome.
Although my newest watch is on a rubber strap (I put it on just minutes ago because I did not have any leather strap that fit), I am not too keen on wearing a rubber strap on a watch.
I have to admit I don't really like rubber straps but this one being so soft I find very comfortable and does suit it. I like the strap detail.
shortlisted for me I have a braided Nato, Mesh bracelet and I'll be watching how the Retro strap looks on yours if you go with it ;)

I still feel that the tropic it came with would be the best strap option. The Accent (above) would give it a modern look and is probably more versatile. I use the Pure from the same range and tho as you say they are expensive they make you think that all rubber straps should be made this way.Still looking at straps for the Skindiver and found these Hirch options. I'm going to try mine on Eddie's Black and Orange nato - it may be too much Orange but is worth a try. I'll also give a canvas or sail cloth strap a try because I prefer them to rubber unless I'm spending a lot of time in the water.
If you fit a different strap, please post photos.
Would appreciate seeing the watch on other straps if you have the time to post

I'd love to see it on eddies orange NATO. I'll get a shot on my pvd NATO tomorrow and I've ordered a braided NATO now too and got my eyes on eddies retro strap.
