Posting to Dubai

Does anyone have experience having a watch posted to an address in Dubai from outside the country?- is there customs and charges usually? Any ideas or experiences would be helpful.

I haven't sent a watch but during the year that my friend lived in Dubai I sent her a few parcels and each time it took upwards of seven weeks to arrive; their customs department do not seem to be all that efficient. Having experienced that, I personally would not chance to send anything halfway valuable.

But, as they say, your mileage may vary.

From personal experience I wouldn't have anything sent as it takes forever and they open pretty much every parcel sent from abroad.
