    What Beater

I have now received my BNIB Daytona that II traded my red subby for but I want a daily Beater, I have a budget of around £300 -
£380 so what would you suggest? I DO NOT want a Seiko for sure but any other help is appreciated. I would still love to own a Alsta Nautoscaph but have had no luck at all getting one

What about a PRS-3 from Eddie?

+1 for one of Eddies :)

Or maybe stump a little more and get a decent used omega? The quartz go for around £600? I've got an M1, in my opinion it is the daddy of "tool" watches ;) :)

I'd go for a PRS-20. It's such a comfortable watch with lots of strap options.

A used Glycine Combat Sub or similar would fall nicely in that price band. That's what I'm currently wearing as my daily beater.

PRS-22, PRS 300 Auto Diver or a Helson.

I bought my Helson Skindiver as a water/beater and have been very happy with it.

    Re: What Beater

Slightly over budget but not by too much, I'd recommend a Sinn 556. That's what I use a my daily wearer and it's great. 200m water resistance as well if that's a consideration.

    Re: What Beater

Frankly £300 on a beater is just too much money when you can destroy two or three watches for the same money
