Probably out of your budget, but this is what I would go for if I was in the market for a blue watch...white gold sub :)
In search of WISdom on this. I'm after piece with some blue in it to compliment everything from a navy suit to battered jeans. They're very different, but which would you pick for the job?
Feel free to throw up some more tasteful alternatives as well.
Rolex Submariner 116613 or 16613
Panerai PAM119
forgot about this one... Breitling Chronomat

I'm a self confessed Rolex fan, and have flirted with PAM. It took me many years to buy a PAM, and within a week I had decided to sell it. Just not for me. Always find myself reverting to a Rolex. So that's my vote.
I wear this with a navy suit, jeans or even neoprene... seems to work okay.

Self confesed Panerai fan so that gets my vote, nice clean dial, the other 2 have bi metal which I have never taken to
16613. All day long.
Breitling B1 blue dial. I had one and it was superb - fit for any occasion. Now why did I sell it :?:
You people don't make this any easier. What was I thinking!
:D
How about one of these....?
Or as above, a blue dialed B1...
Go Tudor and preferably a snowflake cheaper than a Rollie and IMO a little bit more individual.
I FEEL LIKE I'M DIAGONALLY PARKED IN A PARALLEL UNIVERSE
Out of your three... I'd keep looking
But if I had to, it'd be the TT... or the Panerai ... but never the Breitling
Gray
Go for this and buy a huge bundle of stamps with the money saved :)
Or go in the other direction: AP Royal Oak w blue face.
Although I do like the countdown bezel in the previous post. Don't see enough of those.

Ignorance breeds Fear. Fear breeds Hatred. Hatred breeds Ignorance. Break the chain.
Blue McQueen Monaco.. Job done
Or a Silverstone
Seeing as this has now become a bit of a 'blue watch' post - here's a relatively cheap alternative - the strap is a Hirsch Grand Duke.
Breitling Aerospace with blue dial - ideally the Chronometre Aerospace version iwth the SQ movement and the lumed italic indicies.
IMO, the B1 is better with a black dial.
How right you are - and were. :wink:Originally Posted by thenikjones

My best blue watch, now sadly departed but gone to a good home :) Much more cool than a Rolex sub IMO.
Another vote for a snowflake! Here's mine (apologies for the poor photo..)
You could have a try with an Aerospace - the original 'do everything' watch and available in blue :D.
And yes, I know everyone hates the strap. So now I've stuck mine on yet another Cordovan. Time to take out shares in Horween.
PAM, Monaco, SMP or Snowflake looks good.
The Snowflake might have the edge.
Anything but the generic Rolex.
I think the blue on the Rolex makes it look especially tacky.
Just my opinion of course - to each his own, blah, blah, blah.
Another vote for the snowflake from me...here's my one which has dial rot and loads of patina.
You can dress it down with a faded bezel, and a slate Toshi for a day at the beach...
Dress it up with a darker bezel insert and an oyster bracelet for the office....excuse the iPhone pic
Then dress it down again with a NATO and either bezel insert for the weekend ...
Robust, versatile, understated cool....
