You better get a Sub LVc in there.
Ok peeps, this is for just what's currently in production.
The Explorer 2 will be the new one, even though it hasn't hit the shops yet.
Milgauss controversial as a "sports" model. Some say yes, some no. It's on Blowers as a sports model, so I've included it ;-) I personally think no btw.
You better get a Sub LVc in there.
Would be classed as a submarinerOriginally Posted by cmcm3
Edit: I gave in ;-)
GMT IIc is my Fav in terms of functionality and look. Daytona / Sub c comes 2nd 8)

GMT II C. With brushed centre links !!!!!!
Hulk is my favourite
No date sub.
1680 for me just love the patina on my 1680 :D
Got to be the Deep Sea for me.
More metal for your money
You will have to look up the word "current"..........Originally Posted by bokbok

Has to be the deep sea
Has to be the Deep Sea
Guess I'm in the minority picking the new ExpII then.
I voted for the 14060. Classic looks and case shape.
tie between greensub and new exp2 which i havent seen irl yet
Daytona for me! :drunken:
Torn, like the new sub alot, also love the gmtc but i voted for the daddy  dssd.....
yes i should try read it the post 1stOriginally Posted by MuRph77
Sub ND for me, of course there is a glaring absentee, and whilst I realise the sea dweller isn't a current model I think it would have ran away with the vote.
GMT Master, by a substantial distance.
I have owned 7 of the list and picked the Daytona, I love mine 8)
Made the same mistake and voted for the GMT Master on the strength of the patina and matt dials of the vintage models. To be honest I think most older Rolex models look better than their current equivalents. So in that sense I'm not much help to your poll. But I do find the looks of the new ExpII interesting and would love to see pictures when yours arrives. So that's where my adjusted vote goes.

Pick up my Shrek later this week - so I'm sure it will be my flavour of the month, but I'm still not going to vote.
Yep, first thing I did was scan for the SD.Originally Posted by demonloop

SubC. By miles. :drunken:
i am here, my sweet Neenish Tart :DOriginally Posted by Tai Mi Shu
i voted DSSD.....but the new SubC is getting some major wrist time now its off the custard box.

...but, to merely handle the DSSD is an experience in itself. I even snapped its fugly pimp bracelet back on so i can wear it like a complete Neo McMansion arse...with DSSD dangling down near my knuckles. a super quick snug up and its ready for the surf etc. amazing beast.
Jesus for once I agree with the group concensus! Well done SubC, you are finally being appreciated :P
I went for the Explorer II ,, I am really looking forward to seeing one of these in the flesh/metal.
But unfortunately will never be able to afford one.
Cheers,
Chris.
On the basis that they haven't ruined my beloved ExpII with the new one, that's where my vote has gone.
Of the Rolex I own only the DSSD is a current model so my vote lies there. I have yet to see a subc in the flesh.
Deepsea for me :drunken:
Deepsea for it's over engineering and better glidelock than the new sub
Daytona for me, as it's my newest Rolex. And I'm not that keen on any of the new interpretations of existing models as for me they are either too big, too 'Blingy' or both
+1 .Its the one I own and I cant find any fault with it.Its the perfect sports watch.Originally Posted by GraniteQuarry

Yachty not a hottie then
I struggle with the concept of a watch with PCLs, so that gets rid of a few in the list. The DSSD is fantastic but it's size makes it too niche ( sticking the original helium escape valve around the face also is not to my taste). I need a date function, so my vote goes to Sub C.
John
Zenith Striking 10th : Rolex Sub C : Rolex SD 16600
Tried the sub a while ago. Couldnt live with the cyclops (Im young and my eyesight is fine  ). Had to get rid. And, because there are sd's knocking about 2nd hand out there, I just couldnt in good conscience vote for the no-date - though its a nice-looking watch. So its the dssd for me. Just because I like it - Im not going to pretend I dive or surf or anything.
I went for the Sub No Date, it's one of the few models they've not messed around with too much and it's all the better for it
Wot, no sea-dweller - outrageous!!!
