That's a sweet price!
Any service history? Or are you sending it for a service anyway?
Daddel.
Bought in a local pawnshop for unbelievable price of ~1200£. Serial number 4825xxxx dates it 1998.

Display back
Scary wristshot

Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
No service history, no box/papers, but I will check with my watchmaker (accuracy, water resistance) whether it needs service.Originally Posted by Daddelvirks

Congrats. I have always loved the display back.
Great find!
Well done!
Congrats! Wear it well. Cheers
Excellent price for one with a display back. Is it a hesalite crystal?
Good choice: this watch is something you can wear forever. :)
I especially like the aged lume. A timeless addition to any collection.
Lovely watch and a bargain as well. Are you going to do anything with the missing lume on the minute hand?
I would get the hour and the minute relumed with 'aged' look lume, to match the lovely creamy dial.
Congratulations , great buy and a timeless classic. 8)
Can't see me ever selling my birth year Pro.
Yes, it's hesalite crystal.Originally Posted by sham alive
My watchmaker took a look - gaskets are OK, it runs around +15sec/day, so I guess I will wear it for a while. Maybe in autumn I will get it serviced and will ask to relume during service.Originally Posted by MR T

great price and a smashing find!!!....i love the ones with the caseback...speedy pro is a must for all Omega fans!!
Very nice toy. Congrats !
Congrats - both look very happy together.
Great price! I'm very envious  as i am hoping to get a speedy pro with the sapphire case back as my next "serious" watch purchase, they don't come by very often...you'd be lucky to even find a steel caseback at that price!
Congrats!
Still feel like in honeymoon. As today temperature dropped down from +33 yesterday to moderate +22, I put it on brown alligator.
Is that the original SS bracelet? (the clasp looks very shiny and without the push buttons?)
Should be original, clasps with push buttons started later. It was polished, but my watchmaker restored brushed finished while I showed watch. It took around 15 seconds.Originally Posted by Naith
