Cheers! Well worth the money IMHO, my first Stowa, but definitely not my last...[/quote:1u2uf9it]

I have revisited that pic a few times now.

I don't know quite why I like that watch so much - I appreciate the other dialed versions but they just don't do anything for me.

I guess it's sort of familiar but with a unique twist that just works 8)

Congratulations - I expect it'll get a lot of wrist time.

I agree. I saw that (or another) on SC and kept looking at it without being able to make up my mind. On the wrist, it looks great.

Most kind kind Gray, thank you. I've worn the 14 for the last week, and I'm delighted with it's presence and accuracy - +8 secs in a week. :D

    Thanks mate :)

I've had it for a while now and it probably the most wrist time of all my watches.
I do feel like a bit of a traitor though give my slight obsession with 60's and 70's Omegas

    Re: FRIDAY thread

Thanks mate and I'm only to glad I can be of some assistance from time to time.

That particular pic was taken with an ancient point and shoot (HP R507) which I use for all my wrist pics as it's easy to handle. A good subject matter, lighting and composition are far more important than a lot of high end equipment imho.

    Cheers,
    Gary
