Oops! Is my Zeno Eta VAL 7750 supposed to...

    Is this normal?

I used my recently acquired Zeno VAL 7750 Chronograph (Ref. 8600) to time some speakers at a conference, today. Activating the "Start" pusher, I noticed a scrunchy double click when activating the timer. The single "click" to stop or to reset the timer doesn't feel "scrunchy."

Am I forcing something which is out of alignment when I start the chronograph? That's what it feels like to me, but I'm new at this. I've only used quartz "chronographs" or conventional stopwatches before.

    .
As long as it works ... yes, it's normal. The two pushers in the 7750 feel totally different to each other ... I was hoping (in a report that I have been working on for months) that IWC helped with their improvements but no, the IWC Spitfire felt mildly better, but only mildly.

The 7750 is not a 'quality' chrono movement but it's acceptable.

    Thanks, John.

I guess that explains that. This one works just fine - it just feels odd.
