Slightly looser than a strap as they are not as easy to adjust for wrist expansion.

Bracelets and Mesh straps?
How do you wear them?
Im ok with Nato's and Leather tight and not moving but really dont like the feel metal tight on the wrist.
I dont want all my watches on Leather or Nylon.

Every watch a story.
In warm weather my steel bracelets need to be as loose as possible.
The watch must be able to move freely 'cause I hate those sweaty wrists.
Wear mine slightly loose but not enough for it to flop around wrist. Need to be able to slide my index finger under the strap and then it's about right :) .

I prefer to wear mine slightly tight, just enough to slide the little finger under the watch. I just don't like the watch 'flopping' around the wrist at all.
Loose.
But that's because I'm cooler than Wok Gan. And I'm big enough to make my own my mind up.
Has to be loose especially in hot weather nowt worse than a sweaty wrist :D
Yep that's a good yardstick for me too on a bracelet particularly in the warm weather we've had.Originally Posted by Rod
tight, but im well into nylon!!!
I go as tight as I can (still being able to get a pinky in) but always struggle as my wrist size changes a fair bit depending on the temperature. Braclets are muchos uncomfortable if to tight!
Always used to wear my watch very loose. Loose enough that it would actually spin around on my wrist if it was in the thin part. Since I've really got into watches, and why I don't know, I've tightened them all up! They still have to be able to move up and down a bit and not cut into my wrist, but not loose enough to be able to move of its own free wil and volition.
Loose, especially a bracelet. You also need room for wrist expansion in the heat
Can't stand metal bracelets that are too tight, so I always err on the loose side for those. Otherwise I can usally find a "just about right" setting on most non-metal straps.
tight all the way
Gotta be a loose fit
For some reason Bracelet loose, Leather tight. opps 8)
Slightly looser.
loose on nato a little tighter ss bracelet.
I have to say, rolex half link extension (on the milgauss for example) is really perfect for the summer/winter adjustment.
Different depending on the seasons?Originally Posted by dirtysquare

All rollie's should be slight loose. On big watches such as Panerai tight. and on the right wrist. 8)
ish
mines is slightly loose
Seems I like it a touch looser on the SS bracelet than I like it on the leather... Not really had time to toy around with it though so this is just a preliminary diagnosis.
Due to the constant expansion and contraction of my wrist throughout the day a bracelet is sometimes loose sometimes tight. I'd prefer it to be just loose enough to move if uncomfortable. Of course I get that for about 5 minutes a day.
Don't really like leather that much - it used to have something living inside it which would probably still rather be there.
Always as tight as possible. However, a tight bracelet makes my wrist hurt, so need to keep it loose.
Unsized bracelets and sunglasses really look funny. Like you're to cheap or stupid to get them sized right.
Always a little loose, but in summer a little looser...
Prefer a little loose but always seem to end up with a tight fit. No idea why and it is not for want of trying.
as most people i prefer metal bracelets slightly loose, how much depends on the bracelet type.
on my smp it is easy to get a good fit but with my ball it not quite right (being slighly too loose or too tight)
Tight, whether strap or bracelet. I hate the feel of my watch moving on my wrist at all.
I think that most of my watches which are on bracelets are sufficiently water resistant that I can just shower with them on in this weather, so they don't get too sweaty.
Tight as possible. Straps and bracelets the same way :)
Tight, but mostly I wear leather.
For me just tight enough not to slide but needs only a gentle effort to move it
Loose, but not as loose as the way posh spice has her Rose Gold Daytona dangling !
John
So it fits :?
Recently slackened my Rolex and Tudor Oysters.
Much better with a little movement!
Loose....just enough so it won't roll over the wrist bone.
Tight - like my bossOriginally Posted by chime101

Depends, with most steel jobbies I find the elusive perfect fit just that, so I end up with the watch on a strap of some kind. The exception is my Temption which seems to be ok. After a bit of trial and error it has to be said. Fany a sharkmesh though as I have not tried one of those.
Fairly tight so the watch doesn't slip all over the joint.
loose for me - but not so loose the watch moves round my wrist
Like a german virgin !!
Fitz-nice-an-tight
Nahhhh loose-ish
I also wear mine slightly loose.
I like it tight......
Loose enough that i can get in there quickly but tight enough that i can still feel something.
