Just thought I'd share a few pics of my new arrival, a Tag Heuer Aquaracer chronotimer, yellow face :D
I know a lot of Tag Heuer's don't get the love they deserve on here but I love this watch, bought it on Monday and it's not been off my wrist since.
So, on the way home from a lovely weekend in Whitby with the girlfriend, I called in at the York outlet store...
Initially I went in to have a look at an f1 grande date (non chrono) as I was after a nice pick up and go wear every day piece, but they aren't in yet which I didn't realise (I did like the look of the F1 'calibre s' though , but don't know much about the movement)...
I then started looking at the Aquaracer 500m's but didn't really want to spend that much (still want the auto version some day though), tried on an Aquaracer 300m but it felt a little small and didn't do it for me.
I then had a look at the Aquaracer Chronotimer and was instantly won over :drunken: . As soon as I picked it up it felt just 'right', the case design, weight, size and it looks/feels perfect on the rubber.
A quick cappuccino later whilst I had a think about it and this was mine :)
All in all, a sporty colourful, practical and good looking watch. Obviously my enthusiasm for it will die down once I've owned it a while, but at the minute I'm really pleased with it.
I know the yellow isn't to everyone's taste but I fancied something a bit different as I've only ever owned black/grey faced watches. They did also have the black dial version in, and it did look 'smarter' but that wasn't what I wanted the watch to be.
It was also my first experience of buying a decent watch in store (as everything else has either been secondhand or ordered from Japan) and I enjoyed it very much  .

Well I'm a big fan of the breitling aerospace + B1 range, so this chronotimer is perfect for me.
It's just made me want an Aerospace more now though
I think the chronotimer would fit nicely in my collection too
The yellow dial looks very 8), congrats!
nice watch
Digi hybrid theres a term i had not heard before . I like em.
TBH it looks quiet nice. Does it have an alarm ? Enjoy it
And
I really, really like that that, there was a black faced one on SC recently but the yellow is way cooler 8) personally I like Tag's have three in fact an elderly F1 a 2000 series Auto Chrono and a McQueen all beautiful watches IMHO. Give me a shout when you are ready to flip the Chronotimer and in the mean time wear it with pride it looks the dogs.
Digger
Really like those chronotimers, I was tempted when I was at the TAG outlet at bicester village over the summer. Can't quite justify owning one of those and and aerospace though!
Very colourful, very cool. Sure to brighten up any day as we head towards winter.
Not normally a fan of yellow faces but that just works! I like! :D
Now starting to like yellow-dialed watches, congratulations!
Never seen that in yellow before - it's fantastic! enjoy!
I think its really nice,
Hope you enjoy it.
Thanks for the nice comments..
Yes indeed, it genuinely does make me smile every time I look at it, surely a good thing :DOriginally Posted by EdRonax

Never seen that in yellow before and I like it a lot. Always liked the emergency in yellow too, makes me wonder what an aerospace would look like with a yellow dial.
Yours has got the same movement as the B1 I think, which I prefer to the movement used in the aerospace (better designed functions & easier to use).
Cool!
Yep - very nice. 8)
Don't usually like similar Breitlings but do this!
While I'm here.... I've always wondered with these watches, are the 2 displays linked or are they adjusted independently?
congrats looking very nice like the yellow
Not really a big fan of yellow but that's one great looking watch
I like those - the backlighting is particularly good. I could do without the plastichrome trim around the lower display window but that's a small niggle, really.
...but what do I know; I don't even like watches!
Nice to see some appreciation of these modern Tag Heuers for a change, cheers
I know it's a bit of a cliche on here but this one is for keeps and won't be going anywhere :DOriginally Posted by theoriginaldigger
Looks great. I've got a couple of TAG watches and think it's a shame they don't enjoy a great image on watch forums. I haven't owned a digi watch for 30 years (apart from GPS sports watches), but that one has got me pondering them.
I worry they'll only look good on young, sporty types though (which isn't really me :? )
