Nice collection, I see you like your watches on 'the small' side. What's the significance of the grill? :D

yep, the big Zenos are too big for me. My biggest watch is the SMP.
The grill is not intended to bake the lume, it is my patio table :)

Mike, I have always liked the vintage lume Sea Hunter. Wear it in good health.

It's not often I would see three such visually different watches and like them all, but for once I do! A very nice trio indeed.

    Reflection is your camera?

Wish I can have lunches like yours
    :D :D :D

it IS the camera! Thanks for pointing that out :)

These lunch breaks can get expensive though, good job these watches are reasonably priced.

    Thanks all for your comments.

"yep, the big Zenos are too big for me."

"yep, the big Zenos are too big for me."

I always used to think the bigger watches would be too big for my 7 1/2" wrists. To get the idea out of my system, I tried a Zeno Oversized Carre' Pilot's Chrono (50mm, lug to lug). It fits! Maybe it's the square shape that lets me get away with it, but I'm now looking at more of the bigger watches.

I still want a little ZEX, though!

    "What's a ZEX?"

ZEX is a VERY unofficial slang reference to the Zeno Explorer.

I did not originate the term: I believe that honor belongs to other TZ-UK Forumers.

    Correct. :D

Also variously spelled ZX, Z-X, Zex, Zeex ... as in my ex-ZEX (or XZX) above. :)

I used to have a Mamiya camera model ZeX. Brilliant in its day. the X was for crossover between modes, minimising the risk of not getting an acceptable picture. :) It broke and couldn't be repaired. Worse, they were no longer in production (Mamiya went bust).

    But I do have a Zeno ZEX. :) :) :)

    And I love it. :D :D :D
    Best Regards - Peter

I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.

I wore my ZEX last Friday at the Baselworld, while talking to the guy from Sinn who designed the mouthwatering U1 and U2 - he was quite interested in it :)

    PS. I think I need a Sinn u1!

I have been meaning to give my XZX (the ZZ, otherwise known as the "Zegarek Zubrow"/Bison Watch) a break, but I failed ... after a few days in the closet, it is back on my wrist. :)
    Cheers,

    Martin ("Crusader")
