This was my 112 on an earlier style Hirsch Liberty. The newer Liberty straps have the stitch near the lugs like yours.
Really nice straps that come in four of five nature colours and only cost £29.00 retail.
Picked up my first PAM last weekend (thanks Adam); it's a J series 111 and has barely left my wrist in 7 days.
I gather a very important part of PAM ownership is selecting the right strap, or collecting a number of 'right straps', so the next part of my journey now begins. I had a nice 24mm brown strap already (see pic below) but I'm looking to add to the collection.
So, for a little inspiration, can you please post pics of your (or someone else's) PAM on leather? If you can also mention the make/model of the strap, that would be particularly helpful.
Here's mine to start us off although, unhelpfully, I'm not sure what make / model it is. The thread is not white like it appears on the buckle end... it is more creamy but I couldn't get my camera to comply .

When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks long into you.........
Excellent choice, I really haven't got around to getting my strap gathering into full swing yet but I'm sure there will be plenty of others.
Very nice strap too!
Cheers

Hi Mab,
Here are or were three of mine, i still have the two, though the one on the right has moved on for another to take its place.
The one on the left, 177, has an Ant 66 Ammo strap with the 285, the middle one having a Gunny M1 strap.
However i can recommed you get in touch with thomas a german strap maker whose details i will forward on tomorrow.
This strap maker is a genuine gent who i cannot rate highly enough, he is very reasonable and will provide a great ammo strap, a must for your watch.
Thanks and regards.
Keith.
Nice watch, looks great on the wrist
Good lord, you're the last poster on half the topics in Watch Talk.Originally Posted by Philip1981

Cheers for the photos guys; they all look good. I think that Leadarts Swiss Ammo is the front runner so far for me. Just googled it though and can't see a website or anything. :?:
And Keith - I look forward to that message. Thanks!
And now with permission to enter SC !-) (50 post count)
It's off-topic here really, but it was absurd when I opened TZ-UK and saw that most last postings where by Philip1981.Originally Posted by mab

Guys - this is brilliant. Thanks.
Whole array of styles and colours which is exactly what I was looking for. I have the oem calf and rubber with my 111 but find the buckle ends a little too long for my liking but plenty of good alternatives here.
Think I'll go with a couple of thick vintage style straps and a classy looking gator. We'll see...
Great choice for Panerai, i like how simple they looks like, and straps are beautiful too.
Hornback on the right nice.Originally Posted by carlyrox

This just makes me want to get a panerai even more!
My two humble offerings ;
Pam 292 on an OEM Panerai Assolutamente Strap
Pam 233 on an OEM Panerai Cashmere Strap
Pam 233 also on a Custom Order OEM Panerai MX Strap
A homage on a lighter (saddle?) Toshi:
A PAM 116 on a Micah:
A PAM 55 on OEM:
PAM 55 next to PAM 116 on ABP custom and the Micah again:
PAM 55 on darker (tobacco?) Toshi:
A thread I kicked off on some of the differences:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=181535
Pam 183G OEM
Pam 164 on homemade
DK made with bagbuckle !
This is my old 292 on a Pete Gunny
Any of these of interest and I'll try to remember who made them!
Just some of the many I've had
In reality, after going through dozens, I prefer OEM
Gray
some nice pics on the list
