I do not do moon phases nor do I do pointer dates, but apart from that the JLC looks fab :P
I can understand, that you are well chuffed.
Had my JLC Master Moon polished up. (Local David Robinson did it for a nominal price - good call)
Really love this watch. Flies under the radar as it quite small by today's standards. Packs quite a lot of ingenuity into a small case.
Thought I'd knock off a few photos. (Light was a bit poor so in a rush and didn't get it as clean as it could be)
Before (on the wrist), few dings and scratches
After
And a quick look behind. I love display backs.

Stunning absolutely stunning
Very nice
Very attractive watch - really like that. :)
Very nice - what age is this model?
Got this about 8(?) years ago. It's been superceded by the Master Calendar which adds the reserve de marche and I think is slightly bigger.Originally Posted by yrag941
That is absolutely beautiful. Your man did a cracking job of the polish as well. Just lovely.
I'm sorry to tell you that your watch is fake
Joke. Nice job they've done on the watch. It's not really my sort of watch, however, I can see the appeal.
Wear in the best of health
Really like that, beautiful dress watch
That really is a cool looking dress watch.
lovely looking piece and great pics for q and d's
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
Wow, that's one nice looking piece! Very classy. Thanks for sharing
So beautiful. I think it would take some time to get used to reading the day of the month.
Cleans up real nice.
That's rather lovely. Thanks for the pics.
That's true, it's not really the best way to represent the date but you get used to it quite quickly. (It's one of my regular work-day wearers).Originally Posted by PhiloStan

That's nice, very elegant. I like the day and month in a red font.

You are taking good care of watch as it is in almost perfect condition after 10 years.
Great photos great watch
That is a beautiful watch, stunning movement, your photos really do it justice!
I don't often comment but that is Very nice, far better than the current Master Calendar which, I think, sits too high and is too big.
Nice JLC moonphase .... :P
That is a REALLy fine JL. I'd take it any day!
Very nice watch.
Very classy, congrats!

I'd swap most of my collection for that. Very nice, and cleaned up beautifully.
Stunning dress watch....that I will own one day.
What an incredible looking watch that is. Thanks for [s:3qkdui9g]making me jealous[/s:3qkdui9g] sharing
JLC know moonphases. I'll give them that.
That's a nice watch and a good job has been done on it.
Stunning absolutely beautiful.
I have always admired triple calendars.
And that one is most definately worth holding onto. :)
You should be very proud of it and the movement looks great.
JLC are up there with the best. Congratulations, a beautiful dress watch.
Some have commented on it being a 'dress watch' - is it used daily and if so how do you find it/ take care of it / treat it etc? The reason that I ask, apart from its excellent condition, is that recently I was looking at a JLC and thought I'd consider it too precious as a daily wearer.
A beauty, and the only moon phase that attracts me. The pointer date looks quite discrete too. Amazing what a bit of wire-wool and elbow grease can achieve.
I go through phases of using it daily for work (desk based) as it is one of only 2 I wear for work. It's certainly been worn quite a lot over it's life, never been serviced (though it probably needs it soon) - but it keeps good time.Originally Posted by ism123
Before I had it polished it wasn't in a bad state, but like most polished bezels, there were quite a few minor dings and scratches - hence the polish.
The only other issue is that the croc strap is looking a bit tired in places - but that's to be expected. I wouldn't worry about wearing one on a pretty regular basis though - it doesn't have to be "babied". (Wouldn't swim in it though!)
Good pictures…….looksw great
thank you very nice pictures
Looks great 8)
