    Just won one of these

I've been looking at eco-drive watches for some time as i quite like the idea behind them ok a kinetic can last for a good while but in theory this should be able to sit on my desk and stay powered. Plus i've always wanted a perpetual calender (pet hate most months) and sapphire crystal is a must the way my watches get worn so i took a punt and won  Anyone got any experience with these etc.

    the back looks good too

I had one from Eddie that was non-perpetual calendar, mineral glass and it was pretty good. Very solid, I liked the crown quite a lot. Realised that I didn't get on with quartz really anymore so sold it on. Good catch with the sapphire and perpetual!

That's very similar to the Ti GMT version I'm offering for sale over on the Sales forum. Very nice piece of kit it is too.

I decided to sell mine only because I bought the Omega DeVille GMT.

I keep looking at all dancing perpetual ones, but still manage to keep hold of my money.

The eco drive is a super cool watch....Had mine for about 3 months now. Its my daily work-wear-watch. Its very tough - mine is titanium - not a single scratch yet and its gets beaten alot - trust me!
Got mine of ebay. First is was bit disapointed - wears bit small (40MM)
but now i love it.. Perp. calendar and eco driver - perfect combo. Strap it on monday morning - watch awakes from sleep and resets itself :D :D time and date is correct.
Congrats...You will love it - if not ill take it!!

    Cheers,
Very good price seller wouldn't accept paypal which i think limits the people that bid on it but sounds in good nick so at that price its worth seeing if i like it could this be the first ever watch i make a profit on if i don't like it :D

I like the look of those, they look excellent watches.

Forgive me, but how do they work, i.e. the technical aspect of the movement?

    Best Wishes,

    Pottinger+ :)

How do they work as perpetuals? When setting them how do you know what month it's on? Or is it preset at the factory?

    Dave,

It went to a good home. My missus wears it nearly every day at the moment. I put it on one of these from TSS for her :

I am trying to source one of these, but they seem pretty rare. Not many sellers at all.

Can you tell me what the lume is like ? From the photos it looks like it could be tasty !

Lume on the new one seems quite good not sure how long it will burn for but initial brightness seems promising
