    Is this worth buying?

    Hi Everyone,

I saw this Zeno in *Bay. Anyone owned this before? Is it worth buying? How's the overall quality and accuracy?

    Here is a pix ...

    Thanks for answering.

    Cheers!
    Chris.

Looks quite nice to me, perfectly acceptable military numerals/hands/layout. Presumably 7750 driven.

Depends on price and whether you could live with the Swiss red cross doodah.

Any idea of size? Probably 40mm-ish.

    Jim :)

    Hi Jim,

    Thanks for the reply.

U are right! It's running on a Valjoux 7750 (non-decorated) and the size is 40mm with a display back. Well, the red cross is anytime better than the plane ..

The price is about $500. I suppose any chrono with a Vajoux 7750 is ok, right?

    Cheers!
    Chris.

$500 for a Valjoux 7750 sounds good to me! I've had a few Zenos and the quality is good, so if you like it I say go for it!

It's a nice composition. I like the long seconds counterbalance.

Originally, on two-register chronos, one subdial (the 30-minute counter) hat one of these hands and the other one (the running seconds hand) a straight one for easier differentiation.

    Zeno Chronograph w/ Val 7750

    Chris,

I have a Zeno Carre' Case Pilot Chronograph with a VAL/ETA 7750 movement, which I'm very pleased with. The "7750 Wobble" makes it feel a bit "interactive" to wear.

The one you're looking at seems just about like the new one Eddie has left on his current specials page, except Eddie's has the plane (which I happen to like). :D

The Plane vs. Swiss Cross is a purely subjective choice...

    Posting Pics & Mal's old 7750

    Chris,

If you figure out a straightforward way to post pics to this site, please share them. I'm still puzzled.

    Mal,

Yes, still enjoying the Zeno Pilot's Carre' Chronograph. I'd post pics, but you've seen it - and I can't figure out how...
