Birdseye cod fish fingers in buttered white bread with salt and vinegar.
Cheese, Onion and Branston original pickle (has to be Branston) is the all time favourite but many years ago, as an apprentice, we used to have cold bake beans with brown sauce sandwiches on Saturday morning overtime and were scored down by our squad bosses if anything spilled out the side.

Fresh wholemeal loaf, Red Leicester Cheese from the Cheese guy in Stockport Market, sliced home-pickled shallots, bit of brown sauce. Then keep dipping it into your bowl of Tomato Soup as you eat.

My mission in December is to make this
Italian BLT
4 rashers good quality pancetta
2 sliced italian Plum tomatoes
Sliced Bocconccini (Mozarella)
small handful torn basil leaves
Rocket
Assemble the above on a toasted Ciabatta, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil. Cut Ciabatta in half diagonally and get stuck right in
Haven't read the whole thread but for non-home made, tried 'The Earl of Sandwich' in Vegas and their sandwiches were lovely. Think they've recently opened over here too.
