I looked deeply in to it several years back with the full intent of building one but it was just going to cost far to much money. Very very high quality though. I have seen two real ones, one up close and two Hawk replicas, one of which I got inside. Both the Hawks seemed much better built to me, if anything it was the original Lancia that seemed more like a bodged together kit car.
That my friend will take you to over 100 miles per hour. It looks like it has the same doorhandles as well.
Seriously though the original Stratos was my poster car taking over from the Countach, back in the olden days. I would love an original even if it is a bag of bolts.
Pretty sure that's the boys. I'm a complete numpty with cars but the engineering on them certainly impressed me.
My first grown-up magazine (graduating from Beano and Look In) was bought because it had the Stratos on the cover and a big gatefold poster in the middle 8)
