Wow, that's impressive, particularly given how much that thing weighs! Also agree with the comment about the "presenter".
Inspired by the Ducati 1198 v SLS AMG I just watched this...

Shame the presenter has no charisma though!

He may be a bell end nerd, but he's got a very nice job - I hate him

Wanted - Damasko DC57
Yep, he has a great job - he's more suited to radio I think ;-)

phwooarrr, Thrust Mode… Like the sound of that!
That is how a supercar should look, out of this world.
It looks like a car designed by a teenager. I prefer the more subtle Merc. Well, in my fantasies I do... ;)
Bloomin ek.. that thing took off like a stabbed rat.
Bloody hell that shifts. Leaves the other two for dead.
Is it so wrong to have always loved the brashness of Lamborghini's? They really do scream in every sense.
No doubting the awe inspiring qualities of the lambo but I would rather have the merc.

Seriously, chill fella, we all had some incarnation of it on our bedroom wall once upon a time, I bet even you did!
Haha, I'm chilled.Originally Posted by thechatteringclasses

Great car, saw one on the flesh on a PH Sunday Sevice....looks reall mean up close. I had a Countach on my bedroon wall as a kid and I'm now lucky ehough to drive a 911........never understood the appeal of a sports car made by a taxi firm though :DOriginally Posted by Glamdring
hoping to get one of these along to vmax200 this year, want to see it driven in anger!
That Aventador really is a revolution from all points of view (it looks better (imo) than most of the supercars and has better, improved specs over most of them too) .
Impressive figures but one of the most impressive road cars I have seen is the Simon Norris Evo, bearing in mind an Evo wasn't designed for out right top speed. Stats below
Power: 950bhp & 700lb-ft with 9250rpm rev limit
Weight 1180Kg (Dry)
Top speed: 215mph + (201.43mph so far )
Best 0-60mph = 2.4 sec
Best 0-100mph = 4.3 sec
Best 0-150mph = 8.00 sec
¼ mile in 9.26 sec @160.09mph on 17" Nitto 555R tyres.
Best 30-130mph = 5.06 sec
(All times recorded at Santa Pod drag strip )
Blimey, very punchy numbers. I wonder what level of boost it's running
Like my wife says.......looks aren't everything
Seriously, appears to have been folded out of art board by an Oragami, Origam......Orangu...... Paper folder!
I of course prefer the dynamic, exciting styling of my Xantia Hdi
There is the ruf yellow bird on eBay at the mo. now that's a car
passengered in one at circa 190mph, incredible little beasties.
might be some clips from fifth gear on http://www.vmax200.com
Nice car and very quick
The Aventador seems to link back up with that other ridiculous and totally outrageous Lambo, the Countach. Utterly mental.
Excellent!
I lust spotted one whilst getting my lunch..
That looks MENTAL. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
I don't normally like white cars but :love4: :love4: :love4:
(I'd still have it in a different colour but if you said white or nothing...)
Now - off to buy a Euromillions ticket!
Cheers,
I can't imagine what it must be like to have something like that sitting in your garage, awesome 8) 8) 8)
