Now there was a bloke, who could take a pic of a watch!!
Ming is the undisputed watch pic king!
Leica pics are excellent too!
Hiya all,
For those of you who remeber Ming on the forum, way back when, I jsut spotted this on the Leica blog:
Clicky to have a squint.
I haven't seen him on here for absolutely ages so it's nice to see he's still up to his old tricks of taking the most stunning photographs!

Christ he's good!
I recall a thread a while ago about who was the best watch photographer, Ming got my vote by quite a margin.
Crikey was just thinking about Ming the other day - was wondering what he's up to :)

He's a self confessed Lange boy 8) 8)

He hangs out at the purist now.
He has true artistic talent. I miss having him around here.
Cheers,
Jay
Boo! My ears are burning. I don't hang out anywhere these days, just not enough time! Glad to see you're all well. I still email John once in a while, shoot some watches (admittedly its a lot harder with a Leica because they're just not designed for macro). I've got some articles on fratellowatches but the lion's share of the photos are on Flickr - http://www.flickr.com/mingthein
Happy new year (belated 1 Jan and current Chinese dragon) everybody!

Ming, you are sadly missed. You were the best, most informative & most informed and cleverest 'poster' ever.
Thank you but I'm not sure that's necessarily true :)
Every time I try to post more often other things get in the way...so I shall say 'see you all ocasionally'.
Good to see a post from you again Ming. :)
Hope you do find time to pop in now and again, always enjoyed your contributions.
Best Regards - Peter
I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.
