I totally forgot about this one

I ordered 10 pieces last year and they arrived today, totally out of the blue.

The crown looks bigger in the first picture.
I actually prefer it to the original, but I'd be
a dead man if I tried to buy another.

They should go nice with the new PVD deployants.

That's really rather nice, and I don't normally like PVD watches!

They cost me an extra £20 for the PVD (makes a nonsense out of some of the prices quoted for PVDing a case) but I'll sell them for the same price. They're not on the site so if anyone wants one just order the regular PRS-14 and MAKE A NOTE IN THE COMMENTS BOX THAT YOU WANT PVD!

Only 7 available now and default is on rally strap with PVD deployant.

Ordered mine a little before 7:00 AM EST and received a shipping e-mail from Eddie at 9:25 AM EST. Is that quick or what?

It was a very casual order Doug, made about a year ago. I totally forgot about it until they arrived without any warning. You're right about not being able to forget the invoice though, one of several submitted by Fricker this month now that components for pending projects are completed and purchased by them. :( :)

    Hi Eddie,

I tend to steer clear of liquorice sold in Holland. I once bought some on the motorway, of the salted variety. It smelt like cats pee, and tasted like I imagine cats pee would taste

These are from a mixed bag of 'drop', both sweet (some honey too) and salted. I much prefer the salted kind though!
Still not very popular with you guys across the Channel (like Doug  ), is it? :D

I quite like the salted Bas, it's the double salted I don't like.

My particular favourite is the soft Australian liqourice sticks that are purchased from 'Lakeland'...

    http://www.lakelandlimited.co.uk/produc ... 10574_9156

It really is gorgeous, and I've been known to eat a whole bag at a sitting.....then sitting for an hour on the loo

    PRS-14 arrived

    Hi Eddie,

the watch just arrived. Huuii, that was fast

Looks really nice. I have the original Omega SM300, so I never bought the standard PRS-14.
But this black one is stunning. And only 10 of them around  .

Thanks again and the next one should be the Italian LE :D

    Best regards

    KH

I'm glad you like it Karl-Heinz, there are actually only 9 of these because one of the cases was rejected by quality control. I kept one (naturally) and have only one left now. I won't have any more made.

    Yum, dubbelzout... :P
Respect for appreciating the normally salted liqourish though, Eddie! So do they regularly offer the salted variant in stores near you? Thought it was pretty much impossible to get outside of Holland.

It is impossible to get in the UK Bas but I used to work for a company with a Dutch subsidiary and when the Dutch guys came over for meetings, they brought some. I'm pretty sure they do a mixed bag of sweet & salty, which is what they had although they could just have mixed it themselves I suppose.

I saw Ron's yesterday at a meet in NYC, and it was a beauty. I'm not a big PVD guy either, but this one looked so right, beauty of a combo with the rally strap.

    Bravo.

    Bravo.
Everyone that saw the PRS-14 PVD loved it. Also the DN got tried on by many people there. I got to see many fine watches at the show. I only brought three PRS watches with me PRS-1, PRS-2 and PRS-14 all got raves from all who handeled them. I also had the Zeno 500m with me.
I got to handle an Atlantis and I was not impressed when compareing it to the DN. If I had not had a DN I most likely would have bought one.
