Over 5000M water resistance between them....

I now have two of my favourite Rolex's, both V serial Sea-Dwellers but both very different...
The regular 16600 Sea-Dweller looks tiny next to the Deep-Sea but still looks great on the wrist. 8)

If you could somehow attach the DS clasp on to the old watch it would be unbeatable.

Without a doubt.... think it would look good with the new 42mm Exp 2 case too!

Very nice, I'm halfway there. I really could use the new clasp as I'm constantly going from a hot country back to the uk and don't like re-adjusting the clasp with risk of scratching it all the time.

Love the seadweller but the deep sea is just too big for my wrist.
However the strap is another matter.

Deep sea looks comical next to the SD in those pics.

    Good for comparison though.

I think that photo sums it up. The deep sea looks great, until you look at its dad. The 50% it got from mum just spoils it for me.

Sea Dweller is just perfect. They didn't need to change it.

    1220m is plenty. ;-)

Both stunning. And great to have the pair. Congratulations. 8)

Hmm, that's a tough question.... Both are very different, the DSSD has a Matt dial and the regular SD has Gloss black which gives them totally different looks. The size of the DSSD is often what people criticise but I really like it, I also find it very comfortable too, but being in current production it's probably easier to replace... :?

....I would say at this current moment I would want to keep the DSSD which was why I withdrew it from SC... but as you guys know I am prone to changing my mind from time to time. :D

i had 2 SD,s and found them to small, dial and hands are tiny the lume was weak, and the bracelet not good enough at there price point this is not a dig btw, but its my money
the dssd is a big step up in quality and is the perfect watch for me 8)
